I heard they may not be around anymore. They did a lot of work because it is a four storied house. They were hired by the contractor. Instead of carefully measuring square footage in the house to determine how much A/C we needed and it's a complicated formula with lots of technical calculations, they eyeballed. They never used the computer program. They just decided that we needed two units, but it turned out we needed three units. We had a lot of problems and they would never come back after they put it in. we called them directly and they did send a guy twice. However, each visit came after 6-8 calls to them. They actually went up on a ladder and took a thermometer and held it up to the vent where the cool air was coming out of and said that it was fine and the air there was 65 degrees. The cold air coming out of the air-conditioner doesn't tell us what the temperature of the house is. The engineer who worked for our architect came out and confirmed that the system was undersized and we needed three units and not two. Nothing happened so we went to the architect and asked him to intervene. They came out eventually and fixed it, but were paid the full amount by the contractor, if not by us. It was hell to get them to come. I was actually talking to a guy who was also an air-conditioning contractor who worked for a large firm and when I mentioned the company name, he apologized and asked if they were still around. They weren't well-regarded in their own field. I do not see a website for them. I do see them listed in an online phone book. I don't know that they are still there. I pulled them up in the yellow pages.com and looked at the user reviews on the company. According to a review in 2008, the company disappeared off the face of the earth after installation. They never had any service backup. They never returned calls and had no cell phone number.

Excellent! Anthony the salesperson was responsive to our needs, and did not try to oversell. Elmer and the work crew were conscientious, and took care to minimize the disruption to the household during the installation. They found a way to accommodate our preferences on ducts and vent placement. Everything was done on time.

I WASN'T VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. I DON'T THINK THEY WERE VERY GOOD BECAUSE I GOT LEAKS AFTER THEY LEFT. THEY WOUND UP BREAKING SOME OF THE PIPES WHILE THEY WERE CLEANING THE DUCTS. THE PRICE WAS FAIR, I THINK IT IS AVERAGE. IT'S JUST THE QUALITY OF WORK WASN'T GOOD.
