MAVIS DISCOUNT TIRE

I'd give them an "A" for overall and for everything but price.  The price is usually decent though.  I would use them again.  I like the convenience because it's so close.

Called Mavis this morning regarding vehicle inspection same day. Spoke to Steve, who answered professional and friendly. He stated I could come in and get it done today.
Went to place and was greeted and my information was taken. Both Mike (manager),  Antonio, and the guys working in the garage were professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
 What I really liked about coming here was the fact that the guys explained issues about my vehicle and were not pushy about services I needed/suggested. As far as my alignment went, Mike showed me the screen and explained what I was looking at. I definitely needed one. It was very cool that he offered a coupon to help me with the price.  Again, friendly and knowledgeable.
Recommendation of Although my vehicle didn't pass inspection, (which sucks for me) Mike took the time to go over possible reasons and recommended a place to have it diagnosed. 
The waiting area is air conditioned and  clean and has a TV to watch while you wait. 

Service was completed very quickly. However our rims were deeply scratched and we don't think they were scratched before we We're serviced there. Also our tire sensor was damaged. We initially complained and heard nothing and then we complained again the manager was very quickly responsive. They replaced the tire sensor free of charge, but they denied having responsibility for the rims. There was a video of the service being completed, however their investigation was and quot;inconclusive.and quot;

Got a parking ticket on Saturday morning for expired state inspection, so brought the car to this Mavis same day to get it inspected so I might be able to get out of the fine. Shop was able to take the car at 1:00pm in the afternoon on Saturday, and change the rear brake pads to allow it pass the inspection. This is also the first auto service station in the area that I have ever known to be willing to leave rotors alone when changing the brake pads, without even resurfacing them (and by the way, it has now been nearly a year since this visit, never had any issues with those old rotors still in use either). I was totally impressed with how quickly he could get the job done, even on a Saturday afternoon, and that any current promotional prices like the $59 for brake pads are automatically included even if you didn't bring in the coupon or mention it or know about it. I definitely will be visiting this location again in the near future!
