Very good! It went better than I could've anticipated. I've never dealt with a realtor before, but Gary Herbst was clearly working for our best interests instead of his own. Every time I went to meet with him, he pointed out all of the positives and negatives of each home. He was also great at helping us negotiate rates and had great connections and recommendations with banks and other service providers.

Gary spent several months working with us. He showed us many, many houses,  and made multiple recommendations on house location, condition, and value. At no time did we feel pressured to move too quickly or make a decision just to finish a sale. When we found houses we liked, Gary provided simulated bank appraisals that turned out very similar to the one the bank ended up creating for our mortgage. He also did a lot of legwork collecting town records and making sure that house listings were accurate. This was a level of service that previous realtors we worked with did not (and could not) provide.
Gary continued to work with us throughout the contract and closing process, smoothing the process and being consistently available for any questions that came up. After closing, he continued to be available, taking calls from us to help us with first-time homeowner questions. He even stopped by our new house to assist with basic jobs and lend us tools! We'd happily work with Buyer's Edge again.
