Pool opening - fast efficient, and very informative.  They were extremely helpful in  helping us understand what needs to be done for our inground pool.  We had just bought this home and had no clue on how to deal with the pool.  They explained everything in detail.

The service was lousy and bad.  I bought a pool and it took the whole summer to actually get it up and running.  The cement that they used for the deck was not good.  The dive and board was connected to the cement and the cement was literally resting an inch on that.  If somebody had used the dive and board, it would have broken.  After they put the deck in and it dried, I could actually push my toe through parts of the deck.  Just by pressing my toe onto the cement, it would go through the cement.  It was bad service.  I don’t remember how much I spent for this job but I know it was good.  The price was reasonable.  The quality of work was bad.  I will not use their services again in the future.

Our inground pool installation by Tarson Pools (done in 1997) was the most horrific experience EVER for us! Their manager, John Testa, was the most unprofessional, misleading person we have ever dealt with. Everything was a fight with these people. The install crew discarded my carefully designed plans and did what they wanted to do, all by eye. Every year when I open my pool and I see the poor workmanship, I think about the rotten job Tarson Pools did. The liner is pulling away from the top edging, the concrete is a muddy tone (not white like other people's concrete), the concrete is cracked all over, the steps had to be dug out and re-enforced because they were cracking, the pump was too weak, and I could go on and on...

I think Tarson Pools subcontracted to the worst concrete company, they were a family operation, constantly yelled at each other, they used subgrade concrete, they tried to pour the concrete without doing the required grounding and got caught by the town inspector. The town forced them to stop pouring the concrete and then it all became my problem, and I got called from work to come home to try to resolve the dispute. All in all, I feel I got a royal screwing by Tarson Pools, they were rude and could care less about the quality of their work and the lack of professionalism of the various installation crews. If anyone looks at my pool they will for sure find another pool company.

The entire process was horrifying! The gave us a installation date, never showed up then 5 days later dropped off the supplies at 4 pm and left. The next day 3 men showed up with shovels to put up my pool. 12 hours later and a carton of cigarettes they left . The next morning the liner was shredded, my yard was flooded and the pool was completely un - level. They came back out placed a new liner and "leveled" the pool. the water level once filled was 3-4 inches difference from one side to the other. We called to complain and they treated us like we were crazy. They then had the nerve to ask for their payment! Finally in August they came back tore the pool down and rebuilt it. Oh and the "free" winter cover they give fell apart in Feb and my pool is a mess right now. Save yourselves call someone else!

I think they did a really good job. They patched up the foundation, as there were a couple of cracks.

It was fine. I wouldn't say it was outstanding, but they were fair. The sales person was pretty fair, but it took a lot longer than they said it would. After they got started, it was a good job.
