Very well. The carpet looks much better with the second treatment.

I set an order up with them, I was in Fl, and I wanted to get it done early. I told them to call my housekeeper and get the date of when they should go over to the house. She called and one thing lead to another and they made up another order. She gave them all the information, and they knew I had already put in an order so they made up another order that was not correct.

I called them the following day and told them to delete that order, and put on my order, her phone number to call. And the time I had discussed with my housekeeper and the day and so on. So they kept the second order, so now they have 2 orders, both the same day but the second order was incorrect. She didn't know that I had already placed an order with them, but when they looked at the account, they saw it on the account, yet they kept the second order.  I was here, I didn't see the invoice and one thing lead to another, and I refused to pay the difference because it was more money. The order was on tape and I told them to send it to me and I sent it to the Attorney General. 

Their response was, they lied to a bank, they claimed that the tapes said that my housekeeper was wrong. And they didn't mention the fact that I called and deleted that order. So at any rate, I filed a complaint and they were gonna pay me back the difference. 

They also scratched the wooden floor that is adjacent to the carpet in the living room. So I didn't notice when I came back from Fl, so it was about a month later when I called them. They thought that I waited too long to call them about the floor being damaged. 

It was not a lot more over what the initial order was but they added some stuff. I have a cat and I never use the stuff that they put on for pets and stuff because the cat might get sick. They added that in and some other stuff. And anyways, that's the scoop. 

They were efficient. They could maybe get a higher rating if they would negotiate the price.

Excellent work. So thorough - removed spots and stains others carpet cleaners could not get out. Friendly , polite and on time. I'll use hm again.

It went very well. We have used them repeatedly over the years. They are knowledgeable, skilled and friendly. They even came back to reclean a stain that resurfaced at no extra charge.

Owner never contacted me upon purchase - I had to call Steemer to find out when they were coming. Crew arrived without some of the tools they needed - 45 minute wait for them to get back.
Payment time - "We've never heard of Angie's List deal!! Don't know what you're talking about."
As for the cleaning - still drying so cannot speak to the quality of the work. 
I have used Stanley Steemer in the past, I hope the quality this time is typical of that past work.

I set up the appointment with Stanley Steemer for between 8 and 10 am. They called and confirmed with me for that time. They show up at 11:30. Then their truck isn't working so they can't even do the job. Reschedule for the next morning between 8 and 10 am. They don't bother to confirm this time but assure me they will be here by 8:30 at the latest. They show up at 11:45. They actually clean the carpets, but are in and out in record time and did a really crappy job. I think I've gotten them cleaner with my dinky little home steamer. To make up for wasting hours of my time, they throw in free scotch guard for the hallway. A twelve dollar value!!! Gee, thanks Stanley Steemer!! They also gave me a spray bottle of their stain remover, but since it did.not.work.at.all, I don't count that. And all this for $300!! The servicemen were very nice, but NEVER AGAIN.

I called Stanley Steamer and they came up and they didn't clean one of the corners and I told them specifically when I called that there was cat urine.  They did a lousy job.  I would never hire them again.  They came out in December of 2014.

I just purchased a house that had very old (bad) carpet that we figure has been in place for approx 50 years and old dirty linoleum. Stanley Steemer came out and cleaned and sealed the 2 rooms of hardwood floor after we ripped out the carpet and they cleaned 3 rooms of linoleum. The wood looks phenomenal now and they pulled all kinds of dirt out of the linoleum floors that had been there for a long time. I didn't know until an earlier call in a different house when the guys told me that besides carpet they also do stone/tile, linoleum, wood floors, cars, boats, rvs, etc. They saved me hours of work and did a great job, one of the guys was working on the wood rooms while the other was working on the linoleum. Now I can move in to a livable house that looks 100 times better than it did a few days ago.

I have actually dealt with Stanley Steemer twice this month. They came out on 6/16 for the initial cleaning and back on 6/25 for a retouch. Both teams of 2 guys were friendly, professional, answered all of my questions and explained things fully. This is an older house (rental) with older carpet and there were several older stains that I had previously tried to clean myself that came back. They did a great job in both rooms and I will definitely use them again.
The 2nd trip was the free (within the appropriate time frame) revisit to hit some spots that came back. Through no fault of theirs the spots were starting to shadow some (though massively better than before they had treated them) and they came back out and hit that area of the stain again. I've got no issues with how wet the carpet was or how long it takes to dry... even with the current humidity I put a box fan or 2 in the area for a couple days and the carpet dried just fine. I was also very careful to stick to their instructions.. wearing white soled shoes, not walking around in barefoot or socks for a couple days while the carpet dried.
Summary: definitely recommend and will definitely use again in the future

Timely, but bad experience due to incident with something being taken, poor response from manager. Carpets  looked improved but within few days noted spots returned.. overall poor experince, would not use again. Cost alot for a bad episode...

Vinyl floor looks very clean, and new.  Rugs are clean and scotch gaurded.  Two people arrived, they were pleasant, and informative.  They did an excellent job.

Very well and it didn't take long. Nice gentlemen. Helpful advice.  I already had most of furniture moved out as I also had had the rug stretched earlier in the days.  Stains were removed that had been there a long time.  Pet protector, I learned later that there was probably a coupon I could have used.

The two gentlemen that came did a great job. They were actually early and finished within about one hour. They were careful with the floor, they cleaned the chairs thoroughly and got out all the stains and smells (I have two older dogs - so that was a big feat.) I'm not sure how well the 'protect' portion works, but they did a good job and were very kind and professional. They mentioned other services they offered, but weren't pushy at all - just mentioned it as something to think about for next time.
