Simple fix, but he helped me avoid buying a new appliance.

Called Dave in the morning on the very high recommendation of my regular repairman who had retired. Explained my issue, he got my machine model # and said if he could get the part he would be there this afternoon. Could not believe my dishwasher was up and running by 2:30pm. He was punctual, removed his shoes upon entering, knowledgeable, worked quickly, friendly and left no mess. He also adjusted my machine for me so I didn't have a gap. Could not have gone better.

I called Semple Appliances, spoke with owner Dave, and he came out the same day! He quickly diagnosed the problem (a poorly-designed condensation drain had plugged up) and, knowing the make and age of my fridge, he had brought along the correct and now-redesigned replacement part. He made the repair and reassembled the freezer and all is well. In conversation I learned that he has been in the appliance-repair business for over 25 years following working at a large appliance manufacturer. The guy knows his stuff! His rates are very reasonable and (what can I say) you can't beat that level of knowledge and responsiveness.

He showed up on time and got right to it. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing. We will definitely use him again if we are in need of appliance repair!

I would use them again if needed.

It went very well. When I called to make the appointment, I got it on the day I requested. They said they'd call before they came, and they did. Mr. Semple's son did the work and was very quick, courteous and professional. I was very pleased.
