Metro Mattress

We spent 4-6 minutes laying on each mattress, working our way from very soft to very firm, and listening to a discussion of the various features of each mattress. Ryan was a very accommodating salesperson, very attuned to what we liked and didn't like in both a pillow and a mattress. He was truly interested in fitting us with the right items. After trying a lot of beds we selected the "Pure Tally Bliss" mattress which, beside being very comfortable for both of us, is made in AMERICA, hypoallergenic and dissipates body heat. We also purchased the king EZ base, a GM Vertex mattress protector that also dissipates heat, two pillows and a headboard. The total price with tax, removal of an old mattress and the moving of another mattress was around $4,700.00. We have slept now on the new bed for about 2 weeks and are very happy with our purchases. The mattress and the mattress pad really do dissipate excess body heat! Delivery was quick, we could have had it delivered the next day, but chose to have it all delivered in 2 days time. The headboard came from another store and that was delivered in 3 days. There was a problem fitting the headboard with the pre drilled holes in the EZ Base, but after two tries by the installers they were able to mount a modification plate to fit the headboard to the base. I was impressed by their persistence and attention to detail. The only negative thing I can say is that after my purchase I was asked by Metro Mattress to put a review on three websites for which I would receive a $30 gift card. I did the three reviews and after more than a month I have yet to receive the gift card. I have emailed Metro Mattress Customer Care, who responded right away and who must have contacted the company responsible for issuing the gift card. I received an electronic request for information from the company responsible for distributing the cards to which I responded. However, as of September 19th I still haven't received my gift card. In addition, I was told by Metro Mattress I could receive an Amazon gift card, but when the time came to "select" a card, the only choice given was a Master Card Gift Card.

This is our second mattress from Metro Mattress and we were happy with the experience so we went back. This was even better. John explained everything from soup to nuts in everything he showed us. He listened to us and showed us reasonable options. He was professional from the second we walked in the door, explained everything in terms we could understand, was friendly and not even the tiniest bit pushy. He worked around our schedule for delivery and gave us a fantastic experience. I cannot recommend him and Metro Mattress highly enough. This is THE place for a mattress in Central New York.
