Mr. Gwilt did an excellent job. It looks amazing. He was very professional. Friends and family that have seen the bathroom are blown away at how beautiful it looks. I am so happy with Mr. Gwilt's work and the price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend Gwilt Tile and Stone. I definitely plan on using him for future work on my home.
The project involved removing the old ceramic tiles on my kitchen floor and replacing them with new ceramic tile. I knew exactly
what color I wanted, so I purchased the tile and grout and John supplied the rest.
The cost for the project was quite reasonable. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself at the end of each day. He also hung plastic in the kitchen archway to prevent dust from reaching my other rooms.
When we first met, John was just going to do the floor, but in the process of trying to remove some old wall paper that was still
stuck on the corner walls behind where the stack-able washer and dryer sit, I gouged some of the sheet rock and it was a mess.
There was only one feasible option to hide it that didn’t involve new sheet rock, so I asked John if he could run tile up those two wall
areas and he said sure. The result is amazing. He offered suggestions as to what type of pattern to use in laying the floor tiles and
I liked his idea best so I went with that. The finished product is beautiful.
John is very personable guy and by the time he was finished, it felt like he was an old friend of the family.
At some future point in time I plan on replacing my counter tops with granite and I will be hiring John to do that for me.
