Hair Salons/Barbers
Eastwood Hair Designs is in a strip mall on James Street, just off Thompson Road, a stone’s throw from Wegmans. It’s a mom and daughter operation, Laura and Sara, stylists and hair cutters who will do their best to make sure you’re satisfied. I recently had my first hair cut there, it was all right, but I wasn’t entirely satisfied. I went back a day or two later, Sara worked on it a bit, and we both agreed that it takes a few tries before getting a new client’s hair cut just right. A nice attitude, a friendly place decorated with fifties memorabilia—pictures and posters of Audrey Hepburn, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and others of that golden age.
