the owner was beatting his dog tryiing to get him off and fell and hit his head... no one came out to help from the vet... my daughter and I were on the floor trying to get this beast off of Lila.. It grabbec her entire face and ripped her mouth inside away from her gums. It could have bene so much worse... after I was yelling to anyone to bring me a towel cause Lila was bleeding all over and so was my daughterts finger. No one came out... but they made sure they cleaned up the foor when we we were in the room. The owner never offered to pay for anything or give his name, etc. The vet didnt even say sorry. This is my daughters first pet and she had to go through this trauma... We almost didnt go back.. They only gave us antibiotics and no one at the vet really came out until after it was over... We were screaming that our dog was bleeding all over and my daughter was also bleeding. She never came out.. And I know they heard me yelling for someone to bring us a towel or something.
The vet didnt even say he was sorry it happened.. we almost didnt go back there... but my daughters funds could not afford any where else.. WE had a friends of animals certificate and went there... 13 years ago we were there and had our cats fixed.. nothing the same...
We ended up going to her own vet to have Lila checked over cause we didnt trust if anything was okay or not. They actually gave us pain pills for Lila which the guy should have paid... Never gave his name or address or said if complications occur call me... He just left after he got off the floor.. I think he hit his head pretty hard when he dropped on his dog..

My dog was very ill and my regular vet referred me to them for confirmation of his illness. They got us in quickly and the vet on duty stayed later than he was suppose to. They did find cancer and the vet was so very kind and gentle to both myself and my dog. They were wonderful to us and I will always remember there professionlism and caring.

It went well for both of them. The kennel is pleasant and clean. I needed some place close to board Rory. So I had to leave my Vet of many years. The DeWitt Animal Hospital only provides boarding for patients. It was not a bad move and I'm happy with all their services.
