The first guy that came was OK. Another guy showed up when the part came and he seemed flummoxed by what the first one did. At least they got it fixed. Expensive though.

Mike found it quickly, and spliced in a piece of plastic water hose. Fast and he did a good job, checked his work. Way overpriced though, $2.00 worth of plastic 1/4 hose, ten minutes of his time. $129.60! Way over priced, if I have problems the next time I will shop around. Should have you tubed it and done it my self, cost $2.00!

Called and then dropped off the unit. CWA charged a nominal fee (refundable if repairs made) and explained the problem and provided an estimate of both cost and time to repair.
Upon authorization, they ordered the part(s), repaired the unit and called.
Microwave was repaired and picked up in less than a week.

I called them because GE recommended them, online. The woman asked me what the problem with the washer was. The problem was that the clothes were too damp coming out of the spin cycle. Once the repairman came, he asked if there were any power outages. Usually if we have one it's only momentarily. Then he said that the delicate cycle don't work good for spin. I never use the delicate setting. When I tried to show him what settings I use, the touch screen wouldn't go into the settings. He asked me if I ever unplugged the washer and I told him I did. He said I would have to leave the washer unplugged longer. I have left it unplugged overnight. Then he said I would have to reconfigure the computer. I thought that was the repairers job. Well the washer wouldn't go into any of the other cycles so the repairman tried the spin cycle and said it was running OK. I had the damp clothes hanging over my exercise machine so we put them in the washer and spun them out. They were a little better but not great. I use the HE Detergent and use the liquid fabric softener or vinegar. I don't like a person who is supposed to be servicing your appliance to play the blame game with me. That tells me they either don't know enough about their job or didn't want to fix this particular washer. I've been washing clothes for years. I think I know when something isn't right. Our appliances never get abused. The clothes are still coming out damp and the computer screen isn't right. I can't fix the computer screen. It's not my job. The repairman's conclusion was checked and found normal operation.

Within 48 hours of my call, the repairman arrived at my house to assess what the problem was with my washing machine. As it turned out, it was a very minor problem that required no parts and I was charged only for the original service call. He could have told me anything about what was wrong and I would have believed him but he did not.

i have used Countywide for many years and they have fixed everything from dishwashers, washers and dryers to refrigerators large freezers. I have found the to be honest and efficient ... Not to mention the fact that they always do quality work!

I received a call from Mike saying he would arrive between 10:30 and 12 noon. He arrived around 10:30. He knew just what had to be done to fix the problem and had everything done in 30 minutes. I've used County Wide over the years and have never been disappointed.

I called for a tenant whose oven had stopped working. I called them on
Wednesday and we set up an appointment for Friday (today). The guy
showed up on time (between 9:30 and 11:30 was the agreed upon time) and
he fixed the issue without incident. My only concern was the price. The
oven ignitor needed to be replaced (as is usually the case when the
burners work but the oven doesn't) and the total price was $147. I'm
going to try JB Appliance Repair next time to compare the prices. I'm
also unsure if their work is covered under warranty. Other than my issue
with the price, they were professional and fixed the problem when they
said they would.

I am a contractor so I have used County Wide Appliance Service before and have never had any complaints. My dishwasher was still under warranty so it covered the cost of the service call. The quality of there work is really good and they are very prompt.

We had them come back twice only because they replaced a smaller part for us to see if that worked, not because they did bad work. They fixed it. They made two trips but they replaced an inexpensive thing first and then it did not work completely so we had to call them back. We agreed to do this rather than do a full blown repair. They tried to fix the cheapest thing first. It was not their fault. They were very good. They were there the next day and they did not try to make it bigger than what it was. They were cost conscious. They called me in the afternoon and had it done the next morning. They were very good in terms of professionalism. I would use their services again in the future.

As previously stated - we have used the company for the past five years. As a result of their first visit 5 years ago - we have had complete faith in the company. The dryer was making a loud whirling noise ... although it appeared to work find the sound was driving us crazy. When the serviceman arrived ... he took everything apart - and discovered a belt had broken ... and advised it could have caused terrible problems if we had ignored it. He showed us the broken parts, ordered the new part and returned within two days to replace the part. Normally they have the parts either on hand or in stock - but if my memory is correct this item was a different numbered item. He replaced it and everything worked as it should!!! They have worked on the dryer, oven and dishwasher (although we believed we had purchased high quality items when building the home - nothing is made like it used to be!!) and the same gentleman has been out each time. He is pleasant, doesn't always tell me what I want to hear (overuse of soap in both washer and dishwasher) and they are HONEST which is probably the best compliment I could give a company! I have referred friends and neighbors to them ... will use them in the future ... and would strongly recommend them to anyone for appliance needs! Good luck!!!

Were responsive and professional; diagnosed problem quickly. Then, wrong part was ordered. Were not able to tell me whether they ordered the wrong part or vendor sent the wrong part. Was not discovered until the wrong part was attempted to be installed. At the time of the original call, the service tech indicated that it would be better to replace the water line as well since an o-ring might leak with repeated loosening and tightening. He said he would bring one with him when he installed the vavle. He did not. It took a full week for the correct part to arrive and a few more days for us to arrange a convenient time to install it. Quality of work and professionalism were OK; but experience was not smooth.

They did a good job and fixed it. It was under warranty and all they had to do was fix a wire in it. He did complain about something because he had to go down in my basement. The quality was okay. They came out earlier than I expected which was good.

I called early in the morning and asked for an appointment. Someone answered the phone right away (after 8 AM) who could schedule the appointment (a big plus compared to outfits that have grandma or a machine answer and call you back when it's convenient for them). However, they are apparently still in the Ozzie and Harriet years when mom was home all day and available to wait for service calls. They were amazed by my request for an appointment after 4:30 ("oh no--that's much too late to make an appointment"). I decided to go ahead and use them anyway, but had to take time off from work. What an advantage a company would have if they scheduled evening appointments and advertised this! The repair tech called when he was on his way, arrived on time, diagnosed the repair and completed the work promptly. He was efficient and professional.
