Went great! Had a problem the next day that turned out to be unrelated but they fixed it free anyways :)

Monroe Muffler/Brake and Service by the Walmart on Bridge Street in East Syracuse has worked on my car several times. They are honest, trying to save you money where they can. An example: I had a coolant leak in a pipe going from water pump to engine. Replacing that pipe would have been pricey. They figured out how to patch the pinpoint hole without replacing the pipe. The difference was in the hundreds of dollars. I highly recommend the guys there. Johnny Castle, the manager, is awesome. Ed and Jake, who worked on my van were awesome.

The service was easy to obtain, quick, without any surprises.

I walked in without an appointment. The shop was very clean and I was seen right away. It was expensive, but it is a foreign car. They gave me great service and respected. The thing I liked the most was the shop was quiet and effecient

Smooth sailing -- as I have a Subaru, they didn't stock the parts. But, they got on the phone, tracked them down, and were able to have the whole job done within two days. It was half the price Subaru would have charged.

Left it with my cell number. Called 6 hours later inquiring about the work finding the vehicle done. It failed inspection because of the emergency brake cable was not working. I asked them why they didn't call and I was told they tried but couldn't get in touch with me. I told the manager that I wanted the vehicle repaired and he told me that it was too complicated, that I should take the car to the dealer.

Cool Muffler is very fair in all ways. They explain everything and they do not over charge you at all. Also, they do not do any unnecessary stuff to your vehicle. I am very pleased with them. They also do my inspections.
