CHARLIE THE COUNTERTOP MAN

Everyone at Charlie's was pleasant and professional. One small issue with our countertops not coming in by the day our work was scheduled to be completed. We didn't find out about it until 45 minutes before they were to arrive. The counters came in 3 days later and we were worked immediately into the schedule and they look amazing. We are very happy and would recommend Charlie to others!

Bernice and Craig were very helpful in preparing the cost estimate and in the selection of the laminate patterns and colors.  On the day of the installation, Bob and Jim came at the scheduled time to the the work. The work is done in two phases.  They come in the morning to measure wooden templates to make the countertops and return to their shop to finish the countertops.  In the afternoon, they return and complete the installation. They were very professional, efficient, patient and friendly, and took the time to answer all of our questions.  The results exceeded our expectations.  We would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Craig came to my house for the estimate. He explained my options very clearly and discussed longevity and the soundness of the investment. I had originally thought that quartz was my best option and he would gladly install that but instead he sold me on laminate for less than half the cost of quartz. They arrived at 8:45 am and removed the old countertop and left around 10:30am. They returned at 4 pm and were all done at 5pm. They installed the sink and all the plumbing without a hitch or a leak. I purchased a new disposal and a new Kohler faucet that they took with them and they installed that along with a new stainless sink. They paid attention to details and were very courteous. No messes and no clean up. I did not have to remove any drawers. They were gone from 10:30 till 4 but that gave me time to clean places that I could access with the countertop now gone. They did a nice job and I have received a lot of compliments on the new countertop.

He is not responding to my problem. He is very unrepsonsive. Everything that went wrong he totally blew it off.

Wonderful. Timely. We got exactly what we wanted for less than we'd expected to pay.

After the countertops were installed, we noticed the edges were not tight and there was a gap that catches dust, bacteria, etc.. I called Craig several times before he finally came out, around 3-4 months, he stood and looked at the countertops for a few minutes and just kept saying "that looks ugly, that looks ugly". He offered to fill in the gaps but my contractor said he should take it off and rebuild a new one. Craig said the countertops couldn't come off and be replaced. He said the only option was to fill in the gaps. I called Craig after talking to my contractor and Craig said "I'm not going to fix your f***ing problem."

I knew the kind of countertop I wanted because I had been looking for awhile. He only does laminate and we used him 20 years ago when we had our kitchen redone. He came and was quick so we called him up again. We were having a graduation party and my husband literally called him up the week before and said we needed it done in a week and they said they could do it. They came in at 9 o'clock in the morning and removed the countertops and sink. They came back at 3:30 that afternoon and everything was done by 4:30. It was amazing and I am so in love with it.
