C&B PAVING

Needless to say, the experience with C&S paving was horrible!! C&S never pitched the binder enough where water now enters my garage and is ruining my walkway. I was assured by C&S that this problem would be alleviated by putting on the topcoat and sloping it in such a way that the water would be redirected. Not being an "expert" in driveways, I complied and the top coat was put on. About 2 days later it had rained and that is where the show really begins!! Water pooled in front of my garage floor and walkway while not even mentioning the fact that I have frozen pools of water in the winter. The water is seeping under the bricks and the garage floor. What they did not do in fix the hump and slope the binder first since it was installed incorrectly! I am now really paying the price and will need to eventually have it all done over! Stay away from C&S as there are many other well respected contractors out there!

We (3 neighbors) contracted to have our driveways dug and paved. They did all 3 driveways in 1-1/2 days, which was great. It was hot last summer, so we all waited at least 7 days to use our driveways. Then it rained, and we saw that we were getting ruts and dips in the asphalt (within a month of the job being completed). We called them, and they admitted a) that they should have waited for the driveways to dry out after they put down the stone (we live in Clay, which has a high water table), and b) they should have used the heavy duty roller to roll the driveways, vs. the small roller. (DUH!!) We have contacted this contractor many times since last summer (at least 25x) and he promised to fix all 3. He has since dug up all 3, and waited for them to dry (almost 2 months). One of the driveways is finished, and he was to be back the next day for the other 2. That was over 10 days ago. They have not shown up yet, with the trucks or the check. I would NOT recommend this company for anything. It's will probably take lawyers, the BBB and Attorney General to get resolution.
