Hi y’all, I had my couch delivered today from wayfair- Browns delivered Rich and Charlie were so nice & helpful, I was their first stop … I was sleeping ugh, but they came back, delivered my humongous couch, took it outta the box “ which I know they didn’t have to do” took the empty boxes. They went above and beyond for me. I’m so grateful. This company or at least Rich and Charlie were AMAZING, I can’t say enough cause they treated me so great. Thank you guys Hugs Ally

HORRIBLE!!!! 10s of thousands in damage, broken, items returned filthy dirty and/or used during storage period, women’s underwear found in furniture. Items labeled HIGH value destroyed. 6 emails with pictures, 3 phone calls, and no response. PLEASE don’t use them.

Smoothly! Randy Brown was thorough when he visited to estimate cost, movers were efficient and polite when they packed, and they checked in when they were on their way to deliver.

Although I only had a two or three broken things, I felt frustration with them schlepping my 'fragile' boxes around like there was no way it could break. Boxes at the new house were delivered to the wrong room even when they were clearly labelled. The only reason I would probably use them again is that the movers are hired by job and hire on to all the companies. So, the best price wins.

When the personal effects and furnishing arrived at the destination, 2 Tables were broken along with vacuum cleaner 3 other items. The truck arrived on designated day but, because of poor planing on movers part the truck could not get down the street to deliver the Items. This error on part of mover caused the deliver of personal effects and furniture to take additiona12 hours to complete delivery. It took several days to reach the mover by phone here in Syracuse NY to discuss the problem after numerous phone calls.

They were fast and efficient. Nothing had broken. I would highly recommend them. I would use them in the future.

We called many places for movers. I liked that this business didn't need to come over to give us an estimate. They operate with a simple philosophy - $99/hour (2 movers) no mater how much junk you have to move. They ask you to explain what you are moving over the phone, then give you an approximate estimate over the phone, of hours and truck size. They have a 4 hr minimum but I came to find out its impossible to move in less than 4 hours anyway. They clock out when they leave their warehouse and clock back in when they come back, so your $99/hr is a flat rate that includes all travel, gas, fees, etc. They asked us to prioritize what we wanted to move because I mentioned I wanted to stick to the 4 hours. They showed up on time (amazing, right) with plenty of moving blankets to protect our stuff. The 2 guys could each carry what my friend and I did together. They were pretty efficient and took short breaks (drink/smoke) every hour or so. We did everything in one load. They unloaded pretty quickly, not denting or damaging anything. They asked where each large item should be placed Overall it was a pretty good experience

Randy Brown came to the house to do an estimation. He came up with 3 men and a truck, which agreed with our estimations we had received. His time estimate was the highest and the hourly rate was the lowest of the bunch. This of course leads you to believe that they are using lower-paid, lower-quality helpers. All of the quoting was done with paper and typewriter and sent in the mail. This seemed a little old-fashioned in this day and age. Other companies provided their quotes on the spot. As stated above, Brown's was very flexible with our needs, which was much appreciated. Ultimately we chose Brown's and sent back the order for service. On the downside, we NEVER received a call confirming that they had received the order for service. Their office is closed on the weekend (no one answers the phones) so we had no idea if they were coming on Monday! Luckily they did but we could have used a little less drama in that area. The movers arrived right on time on Monday morning, which was good. The driver was an older fellow that stayed in the truck and packed the load. I later found out that he was a retired driver called in to help during peak seasons. He was very nice, polite, and experienced but wasn't able to help as much due to health issues. He was able to keep up and pack the load. The helpers were young kids. One was in college and using moving as a summer job. He had a few months of experience. The other was the same age. Their lack of experience definitely showed. I've seen professional movers work before and they know all the tricks. These guys carried one box at a time. They had spurts of energy but had lulls as well. I was very active and became the third helper. They took smoke/rest breaks every 1-2 hours, sometimes asking first and sometimes not. I didn't mind the breaks but appreciate being asked since I'm paying almost $3 per minute! They were not gentle with some items, in particular the XXL ziplock bags that we used to pack baby clothes in. They were throwing them down the stairs and ripped a few. I saw one of them break a few plastic items and pretend it didn't happen. We didn't take insurance so it didn't matter anyway. On the upside, they were generally pleasant. Two days later we took delivery at the new house. It was the same driver and one of the same helpers. The new helper was a pro and knew what he was doing a little more. His attitude was slightly bossy however, making him a little more unpleasant. They were a little more careful unloading into our new house and had to work a little harder to get everything into the basement. The delivery was a better experience than the pick-up. Overall, I recommend this company if you are on a budget and can pitch in and help out. We ended up about 1.5 hours under the estimate, which I attribute to my help. Without my help I think the estimate would have been exceeded. Not recommended for fragile/high-value moves.
