I've been using Joe and his crew for the last 6 months or so. Found them on Angie's List. The owner came for an estimate for our 4 bedroom two floor house. The initial cleaning was more expensive, about $185.I was very pleased with their service, and I've had them back about once a month since. Subsequent cleanings are cheaper, $135. Joe try his best to work with my schedule, and they are flexible if I needed to change the areas I want cleaned or if I have specific needs. I would not hesitate to use American Maids!

The crew usually comes a little earlier than the appointment time for setting up the cleaning supplies and divide the workload. They do a bang on job in cleaning all the bathrooms and also offer to do something extra if there is time left. I really like them and use their services regularly.

Crew of 4.  Dusted, vacuumed, cleaned all countertops, kitchen, 2 bathrooms. The owner was there to start them off but left to supervise another job.  He was very friendly but the crew less so. I  stayed out of their way because I didn't want to disturb them while they were working.

Yes, the house was clean after they left, but I had the impression it was just OK clean, not REALLY clean.  It didn't SMELL clean either.  Don't know why but I felt uncomfortable while they were here.  Not so with other crews I've hired in the past.  Will probably look for another cleaning service when I'm ready next time.

After having my kitchen remodeled, there was dust everywhere!! I have a 2 story colonial. I called and spoke with Brian, the owner, who put me in contact with Joe, his manager. He came, we walked through and discussed what was to be done, and he gave me an estimate.We then scheduled. He was very professional and courteous-just a real nice guy! A team of 3 came,including Joe. Upon completion, it looked fantastic! I have had other cleaning services ,who could not hold a candle to this operation. All were very pleasant and worked quite hard. The price was a little high, but, after all was said and done, it was worth it to have my home back in the pristine order,I was hoping for. Thanks,Brian & Joe and Crew!!

I hired them initially for entire thorough first floor house clean before a function held at my house.  Initial cleanings are rather costly , however  they did an excellent job!  iI now have them come on an as needed basis approximately once per month and cost is better.  Availability is excellent and consistency of staff is an important plus.

Brain's team of people arrived on time on 11/20/2013 along with their supervisor.  All were assigned specific areas of the house to clean with instructions about the problem areas.  The team was extremely personable, friendly and started work immediately.  Each knew what they had to do and went about it in a highly efficient and diligent manner.  There was a high degree of attention to details in their cleaning methods.  Washing walls, cleaning baseboards and even using toothbrushes to clean around sink and stove chrome casings.  The biggest problem area was my master bedroom bathroom, a small bathroom with a shower that needed detailed cleaning.  When they finished, the bathroom was immaculate and looked brand new.  The rest of the house was cleaned with the same attention to detail .  They were here for two hours and worth every dollar spent for their service. If Angie's List had an A+ rating, I would have given them that rating.  So if you want your house cleaned, and want a really GREAT cleaning, this is the company to hire.  Thank you Brian, Joe, Heidi and the rest of the American Maid staff.  You were all just wonderful!

Did a great job.

First off, Brian the owner took my first call on a Sunday and was able to schedule a walk through for Tuesday morning.  Next his scheduling manager, Joe called me Tuesday evening to schedule the actual cleaning.  Once we had it scheduled for Thursday, our Moving Comapny called to say the truck would be arriving during the cleaning time.  I called Joe back and he was able to adjust his crews to come over Wednesday instead (Thank you Wednesday regulars for switching to Thursday!).
Brian, Joe and three ladies arrived on time and ready to work Wednesday morning.  They were all polite and hard working.  As they cleaned I circulated through the rooms and pointed out things they missed.  I don't blame them, it's an almost 3,000 sq ft home with lots of moldings and angles.  The previous owners hadn't swept a cobweb off in months. In about 3 hours, they completely wiped out all the closets, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, floors, walls and ceiling corners.  Not a trace of dirt was left behind. 
We were very sad when the movers tracked in all kinds of dirt the very next day, but at least that just took a quick swept of the vacuum to remove.  American Maids left us with a clean house that only requires slight touch ups from us now.
We'll be looking to schedule them for regular cleanings in the very near future.
As for price, we moved here from Los Angeles and didn't see anything out of line with their prices.  The crew works hard doing the physical work I can't or don't want to do myself.  What they did as a team in 3 hours would have taken me weeks to complete while also unpacking and moving everything by myself.

The cleaners moved about like clockwork.

Went very well.  This is a very professional company -- the owner AND the cleaning team.  We were VERY happy with the results.  On a side note -- we gave them very short notice around Christmas time.  The owner worked with us to find a date and time that would work for us.  We were very pleased.

All I can say is WOW!!When they came for the estimate, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism. It was a very through explaination of whatwould be cleaned and how it would be cleaned. They were very considerate of my special needs and assured me it would be noproblem.
When the cleaning crew arrived (on time!), they were walked thru the house by the person who did the estimate. He pointed outthe special things I needed done and how to do them. The crew set to work immediately. They were very friendly, and courteous, but worked very hard. I was impressed by the crew, although it was obvious they were friends, there was very little chit-chat.
Bottome line- when they left my house was amazing! Everything was sparkling clean. The shower, which was stained with rust because of my hard well water, was again sparkling white. Just like new!  I keep finding little things that they cleaned, that I hadn't noticed when they left! They finished on time and on budget.
I would hire them again (Indeed, we're seriousely thinking about having them come back every 2 weeks!) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of housecleaning services.

I liked them very much. They are very effiecent. We had a lot of construction in our house, and they did a very good job cleaning up all the saw dust we had. They did a fantastic job cleaning, and they also did a good job wiping down all the windows. The gentlemen that was in charge inspected all the tops of the windows and picture frames to make sure everything was cleaned well. I was very impressed with their work.

I chose this company based on the reviews on Angie's List and I was not disappointed. Having recently moved to the area, I didn't have personal recommendations to consider and I used Angie's List as a means to finding a reputable company. Brian, the owner, was extremely helpful and was very willing to accommodate my schedule to do the walk-through/estimate and to pick up the key to get access. The quality of their work was outstanding (and I am a tough person to please in this regard). I will say it was a little more expensive than where I moved from (Ohio) but it was worth every penny to me. HIs crew cleaned a house I recently purchased - it wasn't left very clean and his team got it to where I was very comfortable moving things in. I appreciated their effort and plan to use them again in the future. I strongly recommend! The amount I spent includes a tip.

The estimate was right on.  The cleaners were punctual and courteous.  They focused on the house itself and left the furniture alone (alot of stuff to move which would have added time)  Bathrooms have never been so clean.  They gave the kitchen cabinets some extra scrubbing and they looked almost new.  I liked the factthat they didn't leave a "cleaning chemical" odor.  For a one time overall clean it was reasonably priced and they did exactly what I asked.

I have a pretty big house, so I pay $240 every time they come out.  They are very thorough and incredibly reliable in times.  There was one incident where one of their new staff accidently knocked a piece of furniture down and they replaced that piece of furniture.  They are extremely responsive and just honest and I can’t say enough good things about them.  I have recommended them to people before and I would recommend them to other members.  They will be back next week.

I really enjoyed working with the company.  The owner, Brian, does a walk through for the free estimate and takes notes as he goes.  He will tell you when he thinks cleaning something is not worth your money.  For example, I was thinking about having the walls washed and he pointed out that it wouldn't make much, if any, difference especially for the amount of time it would take.

On the day of the cleaning, there was a team of 4 people.  They got right to work and did a fabulous job.  They even had some extra time and so cleaned a few more things that weren't planned.
