The day of the 'work' I was told that the video showed bellying of pipe from 23 to 67 feet as the only problem, that the total length of my sewer pipe was 126 feet, and that it connected to the town sewer on the street in the middle of my property. It was also claimed that the water jet had cleaned out all blockages to the town connection.
This conflicted with what I was previously told, and by what was actually found when the work done two weeks later. There was NO bellying as indicated by Super Rooter, the total length of my pipe was 165 feet (not 126 feet), and the connection to the town sewer was at my property line. Furthermore, I was shown that the blockage of roots at 155 feet was never cleared by Super Rooter.
Debbi, the owner of Super Rooter later told me that the 'technician' had fallen on my property injuring himself, but not to worry since she was handling the issue of his medical expenses. It is clear that no work was ever done and that my inability to be onsite was taken advantage of.
While all other contractors I've used have been honest and competent, Super Rooter, however, is an exception and should be avoided like the plague. It does not matter whether the scamming was done at the instance of the owner or the technician.
By phone, the 'technician' claimed that his water jet cleared out all blockages, and that his camera showed a bellying of pipe from 23 to 67 feet, that my sewer pipe had a total length of 126 feet, connected to the town sewer in the street in the middle of my property and that there were no breaks. This conflicted with what the Town as well as the other provider told me re length of pipe, breaks, and location where my sewer met the town sewer. Also, I found out when I made repairs that Super Rooter did NOT clear out the blockage as they claimed. There was no bellying of pipe and their other claims were totally wrong. Furthermore, the owner said that the technician fell and hurt himself on the property but that they would not seek recompense from me for his medical expenses!
Everything the owner (Debbi) told me proved to be untrue. Perhaps the technician did not do any work, seeing that I was not on site and that in addition to myself the owner was scammed. In any case, these people are not to be relied upon, and you use Super Rooter at your own risk!
