Terrible service and expensive, had a problem with the service , the owner Steve just hung up on me after I paid. Didn’t care to fix it. Hrs a very nasty pompous guy. He shouldn’t be in a small business dealing with people.

We just came home from our holiday trip and found the basement floor and carpet soaked and water streaming from the top of the water heater.  We called A&J late that night and left a message.   I was pleased that they called me that night to be sure I was able to shut the water supply.  We arranged for a replacement for the next morning.   The work was done neatly before noon.

As for the carpet - well that's gone.

It was one worker- he came within a day. He was very nice. I would use them again in the future.

They are good and reliable company. They keep their records so that when you call, they know what services they have done for your household. Their technicians are friendly and they do clean work. Two years ago, they came out for a problem. They went up on the roof and did repair without any cost. They are very good!

I have used them for 20 years and like them a lot. They are not the cheapest but the job they do is the best.

Overall - great. They were there each day before 8am as promised and worked all day (the neighbors tell all). They were honest that the project could run into the 3rd day - which it did by a few hours. There was absolutely no mess and the vents look great. Our main concern was to avoid any future problems in finishing off the upstairs. They understood and took great pains to uplift the plywood floor, run the duct work under and nail the floor back down and also to place the components in places which will eventually be behind knee walls so as not to encroach on potential living space. Project manager kept in touch when issues arose such as placement of the thermostat - and asked me about it before going ahead with it. Which was great since my other major concern - not being there while the work was performed - turned out not to be a problem.

Made an appointment. They were very flexable as to my timing and date. The techician arrived right on time did the work and answered my questions very politely. I have used them for several years and have no complaints. In an emergency one time they came right away and fixed the problem and it was after hours on a weekend so that was marvelous. Overall I am satisfied with the work and their customer service just that the price have creeped up alot over the past 3 yrs. Too much I think/feel

They had fair prices and quality equipment and we liked the warranties and after care. They were very professional and courteous. I would recommend them to others.

Initial discrepancy between estimate and contract price. It seems something was overlooked during estimate process. A and J split the difference with us (the issue seemed reasonable) and began work immediately. No problem with guys in home while we were at work all day. Very clean. Great work. Finished in 6 days. We are considering another project and will definitely call them first for design and estimate.

IT WAS MAINLY POSITIVE. THAT IS WHY I CONTINUE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM. THEY TRY TO DO THE BEST, BUT THEY NOT EXPERTS IN THE FIELD. THEY'RE NOT ALWAYS AVAILABLE.
