Jeff Coine (the business owner) and his helper arrived on time and worked efficiently to complete the work required. Jeff even went above and beyond what was asked for by putting up a ceiling light in our kitchen that I was unable to do, without charging extra. Jeff and his helper also trouble shot another issue we had free of charge. There were some switches that seemed not to connect to anything in the home. Jeff and Larry patiently went switch by switch and determined that most of them were 'split outlets' and advised us how they worked. Another switch controlled an outdoor floodlight that been hidden in the back corner of the house behind an overgrown tree.
The ceiling fan in the bedroom worked well. However, the small ceiling fan in the sun room, which was the last thing Jeff worked on, did not work properly when I installed the bulb the next day. The light worked, but the fan made a fainted clicking with each rotation. Although it seemed to me that this was due to cheap fan construction, the base the fan was mounted upon (no fault of Jeff's) was a somewhat flimsy 4" thick by 2' long strip of metal screwed between two 2 x 6 boards. The result was that the fan rocked slightly when in operation.
My concern was that Jeff did not call all of this to my attention before he left. Although there was nothing he could do about it, it would have been better for him to point it out to me before I found out for myself later. When I called him the next day about the matter he was cordial and helpful. I will either replace the base myself or hire a carpenter to do the job and get Jeff to try putting the fan back up.
Overall Jeff was extremely helpful and competent. I would recommend him to anyone and will use him again.
