We can't say enough good things about SZ Mechanical. We had a very old central a/c unit that was nearing its end. My wife and I obtained cost estimates from well known vendors - all proposing major work that included replacing the heating system too and duct work. First was George who was so honest and advised that most of the proposed work was not necessary providing us substantial savings and then Jerry who did the actual installation was professional, clean, removed all the debris and took the time to explain everything to us. GREAT COMPANY!

I usually do not write reviews, but this one is long overdue. I have been using SZ Mechanical for about 3 years. I first reached out to them when one of my AC units went. I received multiple quotes from other local companies that were astronomical to replace the unit. The technician arrived and informed me the unit did not need to be replaced and only needed a small repair saving me thousands of dollars. I have continued to use them for service for both my heat and AC since then. I have since replaced an AC unit with them, had a leaking furnace repaired, annual service for maintenance, and never have been disappointed. They always call to confirm the appointment and when they are on their way. They take their time, are trustworthy, professional, and knowledgeable. This company cares about their customers and it shows. I highly recommend them and everyone I have referred to them has been very happy as well.

I called in for last minute service request and even though they couldn't fit me in their schedule but George was amazingly helpful and understanding . He also quoted the lowest price for service. I will definitely contact them again

I've never had more reliable people do a job for me than SZ Mechanical. They were absolutely amazing! They're professional, punctual and arrived on-time. The presentation and explanation of their work is amazing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I want to make sure everyone knows about them. Both George and Jerry were excellent!

Over the phone, George was courteous & genuinely interested in helping resolve my issue. He almost immediately dispatched Jerry & Joe, and they couldn't have been more professional or efficient. They quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it to me & had it fixed in short order. As a homeowner I'd have zero qualms about recommending SZ Mechanical. I doubt I'll ever use anyone else. I gave straight A's only because A+ wasn't an option.

Even though I was not able to physically be there for the service, Jerry and his team were very professional and communicated with me through every step of the process. I really appreciate that they took every step carefully and made sure that I was informed and kept in the loop of what was going on while my in-laws let them into my house. Well hire again for my annual furnace tuneup and the maintenance.

A/c was working prior to call. Was told something must have shook lose. Now repair was needed. The unit is 17 years old in their defense. All a matter of timing.

I just called today and spoke to the owner Anthony and told him what I wanted He informed me that his lead Forman Jerry was out due to an injury and that it may take a month or more before anything can be done . The conversation started with Anthony saying I have to be honest with you and after hanging up and intended to try and find another company to go with it just stopped and had to call him back to make an appointment. I told him if that is the way he runs his business on the phone than that's the way he runs his business in the field it was such a shock to me that I am giving him the chance

Picked up my service call at 650 am Saturday. Had someone here by 11am. Diagnosed issue quickly. Service tech was great. Service tech was newer I suppose so I got quoted by phone from a more experienced salesman/tech. A little awkward the way we had a 3 way conversation but we all talked through the phone guy on separate calls. I guess this is to help if a customer argues about pricing. Honestly, not an option when real feel temp is expected to hit 110 today. All said and done, nice guys all around. They sounded fair and honest, but I didn't shop around. I relied on their reputation at Angie's List.

This company was great.. I called on a Sunday night at 8 and they were at my house at 7:45 the next morning! Jerry came and he was great too!!He was very professional and very courteous .. He came when he said he was going too, and fixed the problem in no time! I felt he was very honest with us about the problem and i also thought the price was fair.; I will be using this company for all of my heating and AC needs!! I definitely recommend them!!!

I dealt with Jerry. It was a 94 degrees day went I contacted him via Angies List on Saturday at 6am in the morning. He responded right away and was willing to help despite having multiple other emergency calls that day. He came across as extremely knowledgable and caring professional who under-promises and over delivers. After a busy and very hot day, full of emergency calls, (I heard his phone ringing non-stop) he still made it to my house within day. He thoroughly assessed the issue and explained to me various options I had including pricing cons & pros. As a customer, I felt that he put my interests first and genially tried to find the most economical and feasible way of fixing the issue. He is the type of professional that you don't see very often. He truly wants to help and to provide the best service - not just make a sale. He is all about honesty, integrity, professional expertise and great sevice at fair price. I can judge because I spoke with others regarding the same issue. There is a reason he is so busy. But he is worth the wait of you have to wait. Too bad there is no A+ grade in Angies List ratings be he is is higher than A :).5 stars for service and professionalism!

Jerry & Joe were very punctual and professional.   Very flexible with scheduling.  They fixed an issue that 2 previous techs could not solve.  Jerry was very detailed in his explanation of the issue and the solution.  I would highly recommend SZ Mechanical.

There was additional work done. They tuned up the AC's in a couple of different places.
They could have had a bit of better pricing and better performance.

These guys were fantastic. Communication was excellent as they explained the installation and operation of the system in detail. They went above and beyond by doing maintenance on my unit while they were there. They also found and corrected a venting issue I had with my water heater. All around great experience.
