I have used R and L Clocks several times over the years. My 95-year old Sessions mantel clock was repaired about six years ago for almost $180 and worked fine for a while, and then it stopped. Several months later, I brought the clock back and learned I was not winding it properly. My brother-in-law (from Florida) sent me an old pocket watch for repair by R and L back in 2010. It was cleaned and repaired for $65, and I returned it to him. Then later that year, my sister sent me two wristwatches, one of which was a 50-year old Benrus, the other at least 10 years old. The latter wristwatch needed cleaning and a battery replacement. The Benrus needed internal repair and a replacement of the face. When the watches were done for a total of $155, I returned them to my sister. She was dissatisfied with the Benrus' face replacement. I was told that because the watch was so old, an exact duplicate of the face could not be found. The proprietor said he had fashioned the new face to fit the watch plate. This past October (2013), I brought a 30-year old wall clock belonging to my son-in-law (who lives in northeast Pennsylvania). I gave the proprietor a business card for my son-in-law for him to let my son-in-law know of what needed to be done and the cost of such. When the repair was done for about $175, he contacted my son-in-aw who then picked it up during a visit in November. My son-in-law was very happy with the repair.
