Basement Remodel, Kitchen and Bath Remodeling
$40,000
I would not recommend him. My son works for Home Depot, and he recommended him.The price was too expensive for what I got. I had to spend another $5000. or $6000 to repair what he did because he did not come back, plus he stole tools from my basement.

He informed me he did not need a permit for some of the work. He proposed a new window installation. He did not do this. He did not replace a light that was also part of the proposal.  He proposed new siding at the bottom of the house he didn't do this either.  He opened a closet and extended it to the patio.  He still has not finished the outside.  A leak appeared after this work.  He started a paint job but did not finish it.  He was suppose to remove some flooring and make it level.  It does not appear that he finished this properly.  Four months later the tile work is falling apart.  There are two holes under the sink.  One end of the cabinet is open and we are experiencing a draft.  He put in a new shower and moved some light fixtures and compromised a support beam.  That area of the ceiling is now exposed in the basement.  He was supposed to put in a drain in the basement. He was to build a new bathroom at the end of the basement and did not do this.
My microwave only works on one side of the kitchen, he said he would add a new line.  The outlets are not covered, some places the wires are exposed.
On the second floor, the closet is not finished. There are shingles that are missing.  Over Thanksgiving weekend some one broke into our home and stole our refrigerator and their tools they had left at the job site.
The roof had four layers of shingles.  The agreement was he would take all layers off.  He only took off one set of shingles.  Some are now falling off the roof because they were not installed properly.  I don't believe he installed the ice shield along the edges of the roof.
He promised to clean up daily. However he left old shingles on ground and we had to pick up.
He did not put a trap for the toilet  and even put the drain pipe through a support  beam he goes by the names-protect contractors-protect plumbing-protect roofing. his name is michal malafonte aka lorenso if you see this guy run.he will use
inferior products inflate the cost  and milk you dry. he already knows i am taking taking him to court. shame on him for taking advantage of me a 100% disabled veteran  way to go slim ball. your mother must be very proud of you   not.

He came back in May to try to fix the situation.  All of his efferts, which were many, did not work.  We have paid $80,000 and our house is still leaking.  He has since stopped showing up, calling and will not return our calls.  We did run into him at Home Depost driving a new truck with a different company name on it which was Premiere Plumbing.

Kitchen and Bath Remodeling

At first it went very well.  The remodel included tile floor, new cabinets, new sink, a granite top in my kitchen. In the bathroom it included all new tile, new piping. After he was done, a tile was cracked in kitchen. He came and insisted I dropped something on it. I said I am one person and tile's shouldn't crack that easy.  He gave me so many problems. After he fixed one, another would crack. The grout is flaking all over the place. He said he got "bad" grout. He fixed the flaking and then it started to crack again.  I told him not to throw out my old toilet and bath tub. I came home and both were in the dumpster.  He gave me all the cheapest appliances. He said we could go shopping for appliances together and that never happened. He told me I knew nothing about design when colors were being talked about.  He lied to me and said he would be coming numerous times and never shows up. It was back and forth with the communication.

Then he put in the bathtub. There was a sticker on the lip of the tub and I saw it. After a few showers, it started to lift and a huge chip was underneath. I called him and he came over and he said "what did you drop on it".

He put a dumpster in the drive way and when lowering it, it chipped the cement on the driveway.  He said it was cracked already.  He ruined my wood floors. He said he would put down covers and it ruined my floor. He tried to fix them and it ruined it even more.

Ceramic Tile Service
Michael contacted me about the project and we talked about what was required. We set up an appointment for a Friday at 10am. On the day, he called at 10:45am to confirm our 12pm appointment. He said he had noon written down. I was disappointed because we repeated the time to each other at least twice on the phone. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for the next day at 11. He didn't showed up and never called. He still hasn't called.

the work is done by his workers not by him.  When he does show up he tries to change what you said into what he thinks he should do.
argumentative with the customer. does not deal with women (even though they are paying him) . I would say more but I' m too mad
