MILANO GRANITE & MARBLE

If you're in the NYC area and need a general contractor, you can't do any better than Milano Granite & Marble. Rocco & Joe were amazingly helpful throughout the process. They followed through and followed up until everything was perfectly in place. Marc helped coordinate the entire process. (licenses, permits as well as recommending an Architectural firm). Milano staff helped us create the home of our dreams, the team were so insightful and truly understood our vision, also such a pleasure and fun to work with. They were involved in every stage from sourcing unique looks to really nailing the wow factor in every room. They are very fairly priced. I recommend their services without any hesitation.

The job is finished but had a lot of problems with finishing details. Sloppy paint, tile and grout work.Tile installer used chipped tiles that had to subsequently be removed and replaced, Workers chipped mirror on brand new medicine cabinet while installing and left it for me to find never mentioning the damage (cabinet contractor subsequently replaced), workers cracked and broke the glass door of my oven when moving it from and back to kitchen, again never mentioned and left me to find broken door (contractor paid for new door but I had to pay someone to install it).  Wooden wall cabinet needed to be painted/stained as underneath part was "unfinished wood"  Was told that this was the only option and only offer to fix this issue was to stain it.  When they painted/stained it, they dripped the dark brown stain all over the beige floor tile underneath it. At very beginning of job, before wall tile went up, I came home one day to check on work and found that the workers drew an obscene drawing on the sheet rock.  Workers need a lot of supervision and should not be left at job site with out constant supervision.
UPDATE: It's been about 2 months since job was finished and I'm still finding problems with the contractors work! While cleaning bathroom floor this weekend discovered base of toilet has a 12 " crack! obviously was cracked upon installation.  UNREAL Do not use these people unless you want to throw away your money.
