perfect. Raymond arrived with a team of 3 additional movers and they began to dismantle and wrap the furniture to not damage it. they were professional, courteous and as patient with us as humanely possible. These guys were the best. I have no problem with using them again or recommending them.

The three guys that were provided did exceptional work. Very polite and professional. No banging or breaking of my things.

Moved entire contents of home which included heavy, high-end furniture with care and precision. Steve, Carlos and the rest of their men, put us at ease and delivered a flawless performance. Would definitely use them again.

No regard for safe guarding your furniture or property  Many pieces were scratched, broken or did not make the move because they had been broken and discarded by the movers without my knowledge.  I discovered this when I returned to the old place to find an item broken and hidden behind a box spring that I had discarded.   I contacted Michael's who came over, surveyed the damage, apologized and promised to return the following Saturday to repair the damage.  Needless to say, it is going on three weeks and I'm still waiting on someone to return and attempt to fix the damage done by his employees.  I have also left several messages but no one has bothered to return my calls.  I have used these movers in the past without incident but will not use them again.

They kept to their word as far as when they showed up and kept to their price that was agreed upon; they did not try to add any extras. I have almost nothing negative to say about them except they should have covered the walls to prevent scuffs; but that is more of a minor detail. I will use them again in the future.  

It was a good experience.

When Michael came over to give us a quote, he also gave us the name of his box supplier so we could purchase our moving boxes directly,  at the wholesale price.  This saved us several hundred dollars.

I told all of the movers that we had flexibility in our move date and could do it at a time they might otherwise have some downtime.

His quote was within $100 of another mover and $1000 more than the least expensive one (who said he could work by the hour).

I called Michael to discuss his offer and asked how he could assure me of the quoted amount.  The assumed weights on the quotes varied by over 8,000 lb. -- I didn't want to find out later that he had underestimated the job and it was going to cost me more.

He got back to me with a Word document that was his proposed contract.  It said:  "Move priced at a Flat Rate of $2,700.00.  2 Trucks, Load one day and Unload the next day.  blanket wrapping, disassemble and reassemble free of charge".

That not only made him the lowest legitimate bidder, but also simplified the terms of the contract so I felt comfortable that there would be no additional charges.

He made me feel as though my business was important to him.  And the men who actually did the work did a great job.

We had neglected to purchase additional insurance for the move (we meant to do so, but forgot), and were able to secure the insurance at the time of the move for $200 -- accounting for the difference between the cost of the move and the price on the contract.

I also appreciated being able to pay for the move with my Mastercard, rather than with a bank check.

My wife and I are very pleased with the work he did and will call upon him in the future.

We searched many moving companies in our area and found many to be just too expensive. We were moving from an apartment to a house and we believed this company will give us the most bang for our bucks and we prayed that we will not be taken advantage of. Our prayers were answered. The team at Michael Moving did a phenonomial job. They were courteous and competent and the three guys were just fabulous with a hint of humor. My husband and I really appreciate the time and effort they put into our move.

THEY WERE JUST TERRIBLE. THE ESTIMATE THEY PROVIDED WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT THE ACTUAL COST WAS. THE MOVERS WERE LATE AND THEY DID A SHODDY JOB. THEY ACTED LIKE THEY WERE HUNG OVER AND JUST WANTED ME TO GET OUT OF THEIR WAY. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE GOING TO HANDLE PARTS OF THE PACKING AND DISMANTLING OF THE FURNITURE, BUT THEY DIDN'T. WHEN I ASKED THEY WERE RUDE AND SAID THAT THEY DON'T DO THINGS LIKE THAT. I HAD SOME RATHER LARGE PIECES THAT NEEDED TO BE PACKED IN PIECES, BUT WERE PUT ON THE TRUCK ASSEMBLED AND CAME OFF THE TRUCK BROKEN. NO ONE WITH ANYTHING OF VALUE SHOULD USE THEM.

I COMPARED THEM WITH OTHER COMPANIES AND THEIR PRICE WAS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. THE MOVERS WERE NICE AND COURTEOUS WITH OUR THINGS. WE TOLD THEM WHAT TO BE CAREFUL WITH AND THEY WERE. NOTHING WAS BROKEN SO WE ARE SATISFIED.
