It's been 10 years since MC installed my concrete and it still looks amazing. I recently asked Tony touch up the silicone joints in certain areas that got beaten up from the weather and his response was great. Repaired like new. The overall job back in 2008 was absolutely amazing, he hires only the best masons of course, who know nothing but perfection. The equipment is top of the line and his management of the job is the best. He oversees the entire project to ensure its done absolutely perfect from start to finish. Usually done within one day your property gets a much needed face-lift by the mid to late afternoon. Please understand that the level of service is amazing, not rushed, the crew along with trucks and equipment arrive ready to work and transition your worn cracked old concrete into a stunning new pitch perfect masterpiece, with the MezzaCappa Swirl! They did a patio in my backyard and poured concrete on the side of my house. They come, they do the work in one day, it is what you are looking. The price is fair and it is clean. They are as advertised, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

They kept stalling and putting off doing the work for almost 2 months. They finally had their son call me after 2 months and tell me his father did not want to do the job. Now at this point it was right in the season and hard to find someone.

I thought the on the whole went excellent. The workers were extremely efficient and professional, and the quality of the work done was absolutely top notch. The work took 2 days for completion. 90% of the work was done on Day 1. Day 2 consisted of building a concrete porch/ramp for my side unit apt. As far as pricing goes, I would say their pricing was good. I had gotten a few other quotes, and Mezzacappa's pricing was slightly lower. Now I'm sure if I went bargain hunting I could have found someone cheaper. However I wasn't looking for cheap, I was looking for value. Quality work at a fair price done quickly. That's exactly what I feel I got. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.

Absolutely amazing! Tony and his team of 12 workers showed up on time and ready to work. It's incredible to watch the transformation that happens in just one day. What's especially nice about Team Mezzacappa is the family aspect that Tony brings. His two brothers and two nephews all show up on the job. You can tell by their attitude that they enjoy what they do, and that really shows in the finished project. They literally swept themselves out of the job and left it better than when they showed up. Nothing but GREAT things to say, would definitely recommend!

All in one day, Mezzacappa was able to remove all of the old concrete, set up the forms and control joints, pour down the gravel, place steel wire mesh, and pour all of the new concrete. It was truly impressive to watch them work so quickly and efficiently. The patios are pitched to drain water away from the house, and the surfaces are finished beautifully with the Mezzacappa swirl. I am so happy with my new concrete patios, and I would not hesitate to hire them again!

Mezzacappa workers under the supervision of the Mazzacappa  brothers when removing the concrete entrance slab did not stabilize or support the entrance roof  that was held up by columns mounted on the entrance slab.
The entrance roof separated from the house and was severely damaged and was temporarily propped up by boards so that the slab could be removed.
After an assessment by several contractors it was determined that the entrance roof had to be replaced because of the severity of the damage.
Mr. Tony Mezzacappa agreed that the entrance roof had to be replaced and also agreed to pay half of the cost to replace it.
My contractor was hired to replace the structure for a cost of $1800.
As of this writing Mr. Tony Mezzacappa has not paid for his share of the cost.  After many telephone calls and letters to Mezzacappa Concrete there has been no response.
Unfortunately  I will now have to use legal recourse to recover the entire cost of replacing the entrance roof.
I am disappointed that a leading Staten Island contractor would not follow through on his commitment to pay his agreed share of the cost of what was truly an accident and damage caused by his workers and supervised by his family

This was a great company with which to work. They were responsive to my request for an estimate, called to confirm when they were coming, showed up on time, did a beautiful job and came back a week later to finish. I had to call a couple of times with questions, and Tony returned my calls very promptly, even after business hours! They were professional every step of the way, and just plain nice people.
