visit lasupremecontracting dot com Luis Acevedo (contractor) a.k.a. Boomer Ace, co-owns LA Supreme Contracting with wife Ashley Ibanez Acevedo. He is also the President of Never Enuff Auto Club. His employees consist of members from his club who mostly fooled around and hung out at our job site. The job was located in the Bronx and began in July of 2017. On April of 2018 he ceased all work under a false pretense that there were other contractors on the site doing demo work. It is our position that his allegation of other contractors doing work was meant solely to bully us into paying the remaining balance of the contract. He threatened to notify the New York City Department of Buildings unless we paid him, which we considered to be extortion. We had a mutual contract dated July 19, 2017. Said contract specified a mutual consideration between LA Supreme Contracting and us. The consideration was for L.A. Supreme Contracting to perform specified work for a sum of monies. The time frame for completion of work was unspecified in the contract, but orally agreed upon to be completed by October 2017, which never happened. On April of 2018 LA Supreme Contracting walked off the job and the work remained incomplete. They pulled their permit forcing the Department of Buildings to place a Stop Work Order on our property. Once we hired a new contractor and lifted the Stop Work Order they started making false 311 complaints stating that we have illegal conversions of our home and have been renting our basement and attic for years. They even went as far as to try and complain about the Certificate of Occupancy on our property which is moot because the house was built over a 100 years ago. All we wanted was for them to complete the work and the balance of the project would have easily been paid. Instead, Luis took the foolish route, because he wanted out of the job. This will ultimately hurt his business reputation and lose out on good customers and what could have been a superb review.
