KELLY GLASS STUDIO

Patti did a beautiful job in removing, repairing, and re-installing a stained glass skylight in my home. I don't think it had been removed once since the house was built in 1910 and Patti was able to preserve all the pieces (which were bowing badly and threatening to fall), and to clean, repair and re-install the skylight in a tricky spot above my stairs. It's like a whole new piece and provides beautiful light. Patti performed the job for the agreed price and in a timely manner.

Patty designed and installed a beautiful hanging panel out of an old door frame with a keen eye towards my desire for something a la Frank Lloyd Wright, but still unique. She has years of experience and knowledge and was very willing to hear my ideas as well.

I met Patti when she taught a stained glass introductory art class at one of the NYC colleges. From there she did different types of work from repairing a window in my co-op to helping us design french doors and other window/glass projects. It has been a pleasure speaking with her as she is a solid professional with a great sense of humor. She made our design (itself a work of art), helped us with color choices and was open to making changes (which we did not. . . why mess with perfection).
Visiting her studio, we could see the project come to life and, now installed without mess or fuss, on time and perfect, it is better than we could have imagined. (She told us it would be even better once the design had been made in glass. She was right.)
I strongly recommend Patti Kelly as an artist and decades long stained glass master. Her studio, expertise, knowledge, sense of design, and kindness will bring me back for my next project soon. I can't wait!

Ms. Kelly assisted me throughout the project, from design to installation. She was very helpful and professional throughout the process. I am extremely pleased with all aspects of the project and the finished product (light fixture and transom).
