In early January 2014 a serviceman arrived within the service window 6:00pm - 9:00pm, he was not overly friendly but that was OK he may have had a long day.  No problem, I completely understand.  He looked at the stove did the same things I did (tried the touch panel, took oven out of plug and plugged it back up, called Samsung hotline to get further information on LED panel).  The service man was there for no more than 30 minutes and said the control panel looks like it needs to be replaced and he would have someone get back to me Monday  with an estimate on how much the control panel would be.  Paid $65.00 for the service call and expected to hear from someone on Monday.  No call on Monday so I waited until Wednesday and called the office number, I asked to speak to someone regarding the service call.  The receptionist took my information and promised to have someone get back to me with the cost of the part(s) by the end of the day.  No followup call.  Placed a second call the following Monday (2nd Monday), same scenario.  SOMEONE WILL GET BACK TO YOU.  To this very day when I am writing this review 2/4/2014, NOONE has called or followed up.  DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.  These people take your $ for a service call but never follow through to actually fix what is broken or even call you back with information on what the cost of the parts will be.  VERY VERY SORRY I decided to given them a chance.  $65.00 WASTED!!!!

I was able to get an approximate cost by phone. The person came on time and while the machine was open removed some pf the lint in the housing and  took the time to allow me to wipe the inside more thoroughly,

Washing machine was leaking from back. I called and was given a price of $65 to determine the problem, which would be deducted from the price of any repair work. Given a 6 hour window. Repairman called to let me know he was on his way about 3 hours into the time frame. He was professional, ran the machine, no leak found. He advised me to call a plumber if it happens again; maybe the drainage pipe was clogged. I have used the machine twice since he left and it seems to be fine.

My tenant notified me on Saturday, October 6th, that her refrigerator wasn't cooling enough, but that the freezer section was operating fine.  She also informed me that she would be home on Monday, Columbus Day.  As I don't like to go into tenants' apartments when they aren't home even if it's okay with them, I was eager to get service that day.  After perusing Angieslist on Monday (and keeping my fingers crossed), I called Island Appliance Service first thing that morning and left a message.  They called  back shortly, and I was delighted to learn that a serviceman could come out that afternoon.  I felt that their charge for a service call of $65 was reasonable.
When I called my tenant to inform her of the appointment, she agreed to pay the charge for which I would reimburse her.  She called me after the serviceman left.  She said he fixed the problem by replacing the fan and told me the charge was $299.  The refrigerator is working fine.
I am very pleased with the responsiveness and punctuality of Island Appliance, and I will definitely use them again.  Getting competent, reliable, and honest service people to do work especially when you cannot be there as in a landlord-tenant situation is very important to me.

I called about our stove not working and smelling strongly of gas. I spoke to an actual person, who told me that they would be able to get there within 4 hours. The service guy was able to come by within 30 min (after calling to make sure that worked), and finished with the work within another 30 min. All in all, we had a great experience and will be using again.

I had used them before and they did a great job. I did not have to pay anything because the dishwasher was still under warranty. They were able to solve the problem quickly and efficiently, which made me happy. I would recommend them to other people.

THE WORK HE DID WAS FINE. HE DIDN'T HAVE THE NICEST ATTITUDE HIMSELF. THAT IS WHY HE GOT B'S AND NOT A'S. THE WORK WAS FINE, BUT HE HAD A LITTLE BIT OF AN ATTITUDE.
