GOOD IMPRESSIONS CLEANING

I love them. They do everything. They do the laundry. They scrub the house from top to bottom. They clean the bathroom and kitchen. They do dishes. It's just nothing they don't do. They did my whole back balcony. They sweep it up and scrub down all the furniture and everything. They were something else. I was really pleased with them. No issues at all.

It was excellent! Can't say enough about these house cleaners. I have had them here twice and will have them here again soon. I've never been so pleased with a house cleaning service before. I am also glad to recommend the specific ladies who came to my house both times and did such a wonderful job: Esther and Toyin. They are superb. Am very glad to have found this company and they certainly deserve the name "Good Impressions" -- in fact should be more like "Great Impressions". Gary D.

I was very happy with them. They do everything, if you have laundry to do, raking leaves in the yard, they just do everything. They're fantastic.

Julienne and Hughes were wonderful. The work they did was above and beyond what I expected. They even did the OUTSIDE of my windows. They were also on time! I did feel a little guilty about how little these hard workers were making, so I would hope that all of us are generous tippers.

I hired Good Impressions to clean my empty house post construction before we moved in. I left the 2 people to do their job while I was doing my own thing. I didn't want to make it seem like I was watching them constantly or checking in. When they cleaned everything upstairs, I went up to check and noticed that the bathroom floor was not thoroughly cleaned. I further noticed that there was still some dust left on the windows. I politely pointed it out and asked to clean it. At the end one of the cleaners asked me if everything looked good. I went to the basement and right away noticed a number of cobwebs in the corners, on windows and ceiling. I pointed them all out politely. However, they were so obvious that I'm not sure how 2 people could have missed it when I noticed them right away. Overall, it was a decent cleaning job, but I was definitely looking for a higher quality of work.

The person sent over by Good Impressions was on time, very pleasant and got straight to work. She did an amazing job in some areas and ok in others, missing some obvious areas that should've been taken care of without us pointing them out. But I'm confident that if we were more specific, she probably would have been amazing in those areas too. She missed some areas to dust, didn't clean the kitchen sink very well (I redid it after she left) and I'm not sure what she used to clean the stainless steel appliances but it doesn't look like she used the spray designed for that use. But the inside of those appliances were spotless and she did a great job on the floors and bathrooms.
I'm giving a B on price because what we were charged doesn't match what they have on their website. It says up to 4 hours for $76 dollars or $20 an hour, 3 hour minimum. She was in the house for about 3 1/2 hours and we were charged $90. She did the downstairs and the upstairs bathroom but we didn't have her do the bedrooms. So I'm at a bit of a loss as to the cost, even though they do have a and quot;price may varyand quot; disclaimer on the website.
I would not rule out using this company again but I think we'll shop around a bit first.

Very satisfied with this company. I had a team of two women clean my apartment. They were professional, punctual, and did a good job. The reason I give them a B instead of an A is that I found some areas after they left that were not cleaned (top of fridge and other non-visible areas) but this may have been a function of not giving them adequate time to clean such a large space. I would hire them again and give them another hour.

I've been looking for a cleaning service that I can trust, being I have a lot of valuables around. A friend told me about Good Impression and I can't stop thanking him. I'm very meticulous when it comes to cleaning. I check the cabinets on the top of book shelves and all. My last company I used stop working with me because I made them clean the places they had forgot. I didn't have this problem with Good Impression, when the cleaner finish they asked me to look around to see if I was please. I was very pleased, they cleaned in all the places that other cleaning services forget too. I use them twice a week. The cleaners has the keys to my apartment. Now I can trust that I can come home to a clean worry- free apartment. We just had a terrible storm that hit us h****** Staten Island, called Sandy. I was pleasantly surprise that the Good Impression van was at my house ready to clean while we were experiencing a gas shortage. They showed up with candles and flashlights because of the power outage. They have a customer for life with me. I'm not easily impressed and rarely write reviews. If you can please me, then you can please anyone. I will happily recommend them.

I was very impressed with the job she did. However there were 2 pieces of jewelry that were missing. I was very disappointed. I called the office and I told them that she did a wonderful job. I don't want to be accusing Margret but there are 2 pieces of jewelry that have been in the same place that are missing. They were missing and I gave it up. I thought I missed it. She came couple of weeks later and she knocked off my phone jack. She broke it and didn't tell me. She put the jack back where it was and all of a sudden I had no phone service and I had no computer. I finally had Time Warner come and fix it. The thing that I was most upset about was she didn't tell me. So I wasn't going to wait for strike three. I told them that I want them back and that I like their service, their hours are convenient to me, they are convenient to me but don't send this woman back to me anymore. The price was amazing. For the job she did she did it well but the integrity was bad. I like their service and they are responsive but I do not appreciate Margret. Actually, what she did and what I have seen was appalling. She did a good job and was very great at cleaning but the missing jewelry and the breaking up of my modem and didn't have the courtesy of telling me. If she had told me that she was sorry and that she knocked it over. That is acceptable. But to plug back in a broken line that I had to go without a landline and a computer for a week and she didn't say anything to me is unacceptable. I went to this service because they were insured and bonded. My 2 pieces of treasured items are gone. I spoke to them about it and they made no commitments. They didn't make any restitution to me and I am disappointed. It wasn't an expensive piece of jewelry but it was a sentimental piece of jewelry. The ankle bracelet which was lifted was little bit more expensive but it was a sentimental piece. I lost my husband about 3 months ago and she knew this. Somebody to do something like that is absolutely appalling. I was very forgiving. It's been months and I have torn this place apart. There is no way that I could have missed it in this place, it was lifted and it's gone. I intend to use them and I am going to give them one more shot otherwise I am going elsewhere.

Two people came out and it took them about four hours. One worker was great, but I feel like the other didn't clean as well. They didn't always send the same people, so I was little frustrated. I could trust one worker to do a great job, but I wasn't confident in the second worker's cleaning abilities. I needed deep cleaning for hardwood floors and in the kitchen, and it seems like it never gets fully done. I would use them again in the future if I could get the same people each time that I trust to do a good job.

We are very satisfied with their services. Each employee is very attentive and professional. The manager is very easy to work with and their rates are very reasonable.

I liked that they were very flexible and the price was excellent. Most of the cleaners were very good. They took their time cleaning, but sometimes it took too long. Sometimes I had awful experiences with them. They weren't very reliable. Sometimes they were an hour to an hour and a half late.

I was not planning to do this but .... I feel I just want to relate my experience .... I stumbled across this company before I became a member of angie's list and was interested in their services prior. All they offered in house cleaning and the positive remarks on their website always peaked my interest. my house is clean but very dusty as it is unoccupied at the moment. I was having a party on the 30th and needed a sanitized feel. So I contact G.I. and had a good conversation with the person on the phone .... explaining what was needed the week before and received a quote of approximately $130 for 4 hours and 2 people. I am going to give a overview of what happened: Two men showed up and They came 15 - 20 mins late (no big deal), they spent a total of 7 hours, 4 of which on my top level. On my top level is 2 bedroom, a nursery and a bathroom. I asked for my main bedroom, the bathroom and the nursery to be done .... the rooms have a chest, a bed and 2 nightstands, a crib and a kids dresser .... so basically vacuuming and the bathroom took 4 hours ... then they completed the living room, dining room, kitchen, 1.5 bath and mopped out the basement in the 3 hours remaining .... this math seemed very off to me. I paid them for the time that they spent but was very displeased about the service. I had to reclean parts of my house for the party I was having the next day. I later called to express to the woman that answered why I would not use this service again and I was a little put off by the questions that I received like have I used an agency before (which I have). In good jest, they did offer a discount or to come back for 3 additional hours to clean to my liking ... but at this time it defeats the purpose. I have since used a different company and have gotten what was advertised.

Both were very nice.--a man and a women--i felt that the woman had more experience and that the man was a little clumsy with equipment. they had to move a piece of furniture and in so doing disconnected my connection with the internet--that was a bother but I was more peeved with Verizon. They did a wonderful job cleaning and cleaned areas i had never noticed were dirty! Will call them again.

The ladies were given incorrect address so they were 1/2 late. I called the office and asked for the cell # so I can give directions and was refused. Most likely afraid of their employees being poached. In any event, a few communication gliches...wrong address, wrong type of service (i wanted a deep clean which is why I chose 2 people vs one) and Donna asked if I wanted them to bring cleaning products not bothering to tell me if I used them they would charge me an additional $10. In the end the owner waived but I had a coupon so she took that in lieu which she shouldn't have and given me my discount - no? anyway the ladies cleaned upstairs first but I think they ran out of steam by the time the kitchen was done as the cabinets inside werent done nor inside the fridge. Also no windows were done which Donna said they would be as part of the deep clean. The ladies were not prepared to do a deep clean timewise but ended doing some things deeply (under the bed but shouldn't that be part of a regular clean?) Anyway I will use them again but will be much more clearer in what I expect and will probably ask for one person instead of two. Different promises were made but no one bothered to tell the employees what promises were made. They must work on their communication! Thanks Ladies for your assistance.

First, the woman arrived over an hour late. Once she arrived, she didn't even attempt to provide an explanation or an apology. Second, the kitchen was barely cleaned. This was a move-out cleaning, and she didn't even clean the stove, or do any sort of of reasonable job cleaning the cabinets or the surfaces. And later, once we hired another person to re-do some of the work that hadn't been done, we discovered a ton of roach carcasses on the top of the kitchen cabinets that she apparently didn't feel the need to clean. Third, the floors and the window sills were carelessly done ~ a basic once over vs the detailed cleaning needed after a move-out. While I understand there is a limited amount one can do in any initial cleaning after a move out, especially when the apartment hadn't received a detailed cleaning in close to a decade, the job was still careless. I would have had more respect for the job if she had pointed out she didn't have time to clean certain things, but it was almost as if she didn't even see the dirt she left behind.

The cleaner arrived, changed into her work clothes and began to work. She cleaned a large apartment thoroughly and with great good nature. Her work far exceeded my expectation. I would definitely use this company again.

I am very glad I decided to have this service. Me and my boyfriend are a parents of a one year old baby and we both work full-time and working on our graduate degrees. Needless to say it was very much a time saver and we were able have accomplished what we have been putting off for months! Good impressions sent over two cleaners based on my request and that was a good thing because my kitchen alone took up a majority of the cleaning time for one person. I brought all of the cleaning supplies listed on the website but they offered the option of bringing their own supplies as well for an additional charge. These ladies arrived on time and were so pleasant and ready to work. I was able to leave them to their work as I took care of my errands and upon my return they were just finishing up. Overall they finished in about 4 hours. There were some details that I felt were overlooked but perhaps that was due to the reluctance of the cleaners to move things around so they can get to the cornors of the floors and surfaces. I do however appreciate that almost everything was put back in its proper place or where it made sense. Perhaps I need to request this. Also while the floors were very shiny, which is great, unfortunately they were so slippery that I needed to put sneakers on my daughter to walk around the house for first week after the cleaning; my floors give good shine with just a regular clean without any waxing or pledge so I may have to point this out in the future. Overall Good Impressions was very flexible with the time availibility and very professional. I am looking forwarding forward to requesting their services on a more regular basis that suits my budget. I spent about $120 including the tip. I liked them because they did a good job. The lady they sent out was very nice. They were also very nice when they called in. We had some hard stuff to clean and they did all that. She worked pretty much the whole time. I helped out a bit. One negative was that I had to buy a bunch of supplies. I didn’t think that I would have to beforehand. It actually didn’t make sense because they did have a van and they could have done it. However, the quality of the work was good and the cleanliness was very good. They also did a pretty good job organizing. I only had them organize a couple of things. They don't seem to do closet reorganization; it was corners and massive boxes. It was cost effective. It is really a bargain if you have all the cleaning supplies. She didn’t get everything, but everything she did was very well done. They took my call right away and they had somebody come by two days later. She came on time as well.
