Steve & his crew did an incredible job on my total bathroom renovation. It was completed in 3 days as promised. Steve is involved during the entire job. He's right there working hands on with his guys. He's not just a sign here & watch owner. He's working right along side his crew which you can see creates a very comfortable and perfectly orchestrated job. I watched them do things in minutes that previous contractors took a full day to do. Also, we have a special needs member in our family whom we asked for some unique requests to accommodate. Steve offered great suggestions & accommodated our needs perfectly. From the moment I walked in the Dream Kitchens & Bath showroom & was greated by Harriet, I instantly got a great vibe. We are so happy with our now gorgeous bathroom.

They came and measured the countertop for the granite, measured bathrooms for new bathtub, surround tile, floors.  Replace walk in master bath shower with tile surround. Changed vents. Supplied toilets, shower, bathtub, kitchen countertop, faucets..
I bought the 2 bath vanities, mirrors, medicine cabinets, light fixtures seperatley.
When Steve measured the counter top he measured too big and I ended up paying for a 3 foot long piece we couldn't use- countertop $7,000.  Did not bring the shower doors I ordered because the company sent the wrong doors so it was either install those or wait so I opted to install what he brought.
He removed the very old garbage disposal and since tube was to small from the dishwasher to the sink pipe  he filled in the area with electrical tape and taped it together.  I don't use the dishwasher frequently but the first time I did I had a huge flood because it backed up from the stuck tape. I had to call a service company to connect it correctly. Re-used the towel bars which was what I wanted but they were not installed straight.  I notified him that a bottom portion of the shower door had detached and rusted and the supplier could only speak to the contractor to get a replacement piece I was willing to pay for.  Called before Thanksgiving and 2 or 3 other times and was told he didn't use that company any longer.  He offered to install new doors for $700 or $800.
I do have to say that his workers were clean, neat hard working but we bought lunch while they were working and supplied beverages throughout the day.  I'm writing this now because things are going wrong.  We are 2 adults no kids so its not excessive wear and tear.    Would I recommend him, absolutely not.  They get points for punctuality, politeness and the workers being very hard workers.  Otherwise an F

I was having the bathroom redone for my 93 year old mother who was in the hospital at the this time.

The work was done in a 2 week period and came in at original price. I was on site during all the work and there were various issue that were corrected

  • The mirror was not original and opened in the wrong direction.  I had to pick up one at Loews.

  • I contracted bull nose tile for the corner but saw them installing plastic edging the had to pull it off and get the tile delivered

  • I ordered sand textured floor tile and they deliver smooth the had to pick up correct tile

  • they installed a white toilet with a biscuit colored tank

  • they were to return on Monday to replace the tank, called that Morning and postpone till Tuesday postponed Wednesday when complained that he was ruin what was left of my vacation he asked if I wanted he to come at all.

  • They did return on Thursday and replace the tank

  • The friend that recommended him and got his standard package was happy with him, told me he had told them that once the grout settled he would come back and cracks. He didn't tell me that and at this point I don't want him back again.

  • He was not professional with this paper work and had asked me to have the final payment cut to the tile man and he gave me another name. Turns out the other name was not a subcontractor but his name not his business.

Amazing, amazing and amazing. The very old tiles and surround of the bathtub and shower stalled needed to be removed and updated. They did a spotless job of getting all the debris out of my house. All the tile work lined up beautifully. The vanities I ordered, from a separate vendor, had to be shortened because they came in too tall, which he did without a chip or crack to the finish of the wood. The glass backsplash in my kitchen came out perfect. They didi extra work for us because he saw something that he didn't like and fixed it for us. I will be posting pictures of the before and after for all 3 jobs that Steve and his people did. I totally recommend Steve and his wonderful crew. They were always on time, cleaned up after they finish for the day and they de-stressed what is very stressful and expensive project. I totally recommend Dream Kitchens and Baths.

The plumbing work was bad, it flooded into my basement. The fixtures they used were very cheap and started chipping. The flooring tiles starting moving and chipping off. The new toliet started clogging, which I had to replace.

A pleasure to work with. Best price of the three estimates I received. Prompt and fast work. Very professional and friendly. Steve Worona, who owns the business and does the work, is great to work with. My dog even loves him!

It went very well. They did a great job. The cost was reasonable. They were on time every day and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. As a matter of fact, I am going to do another job with them.

I met Steve, the owner, at a Home fair at the Staten Island mall. We talked briefly as I needed my 3 qtr bathroo remodeled after a flood had damaged it. I called the Dream Kitchen and Bath office back a few days later and set up an appointment to receive a free estimate. Steve came to my house and met with my husband and I to explore our options. He was very helpful with coming up with ideas and solutions to meet our needs within our budget. We met with him again the following weekend in his showroom on Port Richmond Ave. where we looked at all our available options for fixtures, tiles, etc. and to discuss the price. He said he could complete the job in 3 days time which we were excited about. We took a few more days to crunch our numbers and figure out our budget. When we did, Steve was willing to work with us to make sure the job fit our needs and our budget. We scheduled the job to start on a Monday and be completed on a Wednesday. The office called us up a week before the start date and informed us that our job would have to be pushed back a day, so now they would be starting work on a Tuesday and finishing on a Thursday. While this was a bit of an inconvience, they did give us an entire week's notice which I thought was very considerate so we were able to adjust our plans in time without a problem. Steve and his workers arrived on time every day of the job (early in fact) and always got right to work. The workers were very polite and made sure to clean up after themselves while carrying materials, etc. in and out of the house. Due to high humidity, the job took 1 day longer than anticipated, only an additional hour was needed on the 4th day to finalize the job. The price promised to me was the price I was given and overall I was very satisfied with the job from start to finish. My "B" rating for "Quality" is only because a couple small things, like missing caulk and a shower rod were overlooked, but immediately corrected once I pointed them out. My "B" rating for "Professionalism" is only because I felt as though I was not given a proper look at the completed job at the end of each day which I would have appreciated, though again I could have been more forward and took it upon myself to take a look and not wait around to be shown. I would highly recommend Steve and everyone at Dream Kitchen and Bath to all my family and friends and would certainly use their services again in the future.

They came promptly to do the estimate. Friendly showroom, with limited selection because they focus on getting the job done in a week. The problems came with the actual work. Tile guy is a sub despite what their ad says about not subbing work out, and he did a crummy job (crooked spots clear to any eye, floor insanely high but still not level); and in the placement of the window, vanity, medicine chest and toilet, careless measuring/planning led to slightly off placement of everything. The effect is not professional, and I am not happy. I do think the plumbing and electrical are safe -- it's the finishing that is sloppy and displeasing.
