He removed a section of the rotted pipe and capped it so that the flooding stopped. He was in the city when he got the call for emergency service after 6pm and came in the pouring rain to take care of the problem.  After fixing the problem he returned the following morning to make sure the water had receded and everything was O.K.  Very professional and reasonable.

The basement job was much bigger than we anticipated.  There were some rotted iron pipes, and they had to work until about three in the morning.  It was a very messy project.  They did a satisfactory job.  It was very messy just after we had the floors done, which was disappointing.  At the end the cleanup wasn’t done as well as I would have liked.  They had to dig a big hole in the cement floor, and when they patched it up, they left it very rough and obvious.  It did not look great when they were finished.   They added a vent from the basement to the outside that they had to come back to add support to.  They were diligent in that they worked long hours to get the job done in one night, as they had to turn the water off to the building to get the job done.  We had a lot of work cleaning up the mud after them, though.

He had to purchase two parts from the plumbing supply place, so it was more than quoted. He sent his workers. They were very polite and prompt. They put the hot and cold on backwards, but they came back right away and fixed that problem. A day or so later, the center spout was still leaking. I called Robert and he sent them back right away. It turned out they needed a washer. They didn't charge me for that call.
