It went very well. Also, it's not Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. It's actually Platinum.

The service was great. Billy is a very nice person, always polite, and considerate. He is very professional. I will recommend him to all of my friends.

First, I want to clarify that this review applies to William Andrade, formerly of Benjamin Frankiln Heating, and still listed as such. In fact, his current company name is Platinum Plumbing and Heating, at the same phone number,718-273-7330.
After getting 5 estimates, Bill had the best combination of experience, professionalism, and a fair price. He was responsive to my questions, polite, professional and did a great job.

They only fixed part of the problem. They were supposed to order a part for me and after trying to get a hold of him on four different occasions, I am still using a wrench to turn my bathtub on. The gentleman that came out told me he was leaving the company so I'm not sure if he has left or not, I really wasn't sure what I was supposed to do with that information.
The part of the job that was done was good. He was very personable during the job.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, they also do heating and AC along with plumbing. They gave me higher efficiency boiler and a tankless water heater. I had quote before from other company also. They and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing both quoted new gas burners, but the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was a more efficient unit. Their price was around $7000 that included tankless water heater, which was more expensive than the standard storage tank. I would definitely use their service in the future too.

Waited on national Grid to do installation from street. They ended up coming early because of a glich in scheduling--house next door had filed a month earlier and team doing installation contacted me. Unfortunately, I still had to wait for my plumber, but in all fairness he had scheduled work to be done based upon National Grid's initial estimate. Once he started things went fairly smoothly with only minor delays due to materials not being available. He was always professional. The work was done neatly and he listened to my concerns and actually went out of his way to comply with my wishes. He was easy to deal with on a personal level and his work seems very professional. Of course this is primarily a heating system and it was installed in June, I suppose I'll know for sure come November but all indications point to an excellent job.

They answered their phone immediately and arrived within 1.5 hours, exactly as promised. The owner and his associate were professional and courteous. The service truck was was very large and well equipped. They quickly found the problem patiently explaining everything they were doing. As a courtesy, they also checked other plumbing and made future maintenance recommendations. They charged exactly what I was quoted. And, thoroughly cleaned up and took trash out. Owner is very friendly, honest, and experienced - no high pressure sales pitch. Took the time to sit down with me at the end to genuinely thank me for the business, something nobody else seems to care about anymore. He has been in business a long time and with this kind of service, he will have many more years. I would highly recommend him.
