Provider was very good. My TV was hooked up very well the only thing is that he kept on saying he was a hundred dollars an hour and it gave me the impression he would try to go beyond an hour to get that second hundred even if he only worked 15 minuits.

Ben responded promptly to my inquiry and came by on a Saturday for an estimate. He showed up more than an hour late but explained he was stuck on another job. I thought his prices were on the high side but it was work I wanted done and so I agreed to his price.
It took several weeks before I heard from him again. The work was done professionally and I am pleased with it. He had to order the hinge for the one kitchen cabinet and put a temporary hinge on it in the meantime. He was scheduled to come back on a Saturday to put it in but never showed up.
When he came back, he charged my husband an additional $50 for the hinge, which I thought was included in the original estimate. My husband paid it. I would have argued it if I had been here. It's hard getting people to come and do small jobs so although I believe it was pricey, it was still worth it to me to finally have these things fixed.

I needed to do a variety of minor repairs, mostly cosmetic in nature to prepare my home for sale. Ben came to do an initial survey and estimate. The estimate was well in excess of what I expected in price. As a result, I needed to consolidate my wish list to only the most critical items. This was due in part to desperation as I only had a limited schedule in which to see this work through. I only had a week to accomplish these tasks. Ben said he would be able to handle all of the items, but we just barely made it with the reduced list. Also, as stated, the final amount that I paid for the reduced list was approximately what I would have expected the full list to cost within say $1,500 or so.
Ben claimed that I was his only client that week. Yet each day, he came at different times, usually noon or later. To his credit, he would stay late in the evening. I would have preferred that he show up early and consistently and leave at a reasonable time.
Despite the minor issues in scheduling and cost concerns, Ben does very good work. The showers and tubs look new, like they were just installed. The crack in the basement is invisible and prevents water seepage. The patch in the drywall is undetectable. To be fair, he fixed the electrical outlet at no charge.
Ben is clearly a decent, hard working and capable handyman and a genuinely nice guy. I would certainly use him again, and perhaps as a repeat customer, maybe he would extend some greater discounts.

Ben is a pleasure to work with. He answered my call immediately, arranged an estimate the next day, emailed me the estimate promptly and started work on time. In fact, on more than one day he stayed as late as 9 PM in order to finish the work. He went to Home Depot and Lowe's to buy several different light bulbs and other materials with his own money, returned what wasn't needed, and cheerfully and patiently put up with my indecision. He replaced light bulbs in 2 large chandeliers with many, many crystals that had to be removed, washed, and replaced, which he did while standing on a ledge that required steady hands and feet. I will not hesitate to call him again. In fact, I postponed one project temporarily but will call him when I'm ready to proceed. He ordered a hinge for an unusual cabinet and will return to install it when he receives it. He also honored his Angie's List 10% off coupon.

I've used him several times. I last time I spent $200 and the time before I spent $600. The experience was good. He responded the same day the last time I used him. I found him to be desirable. I would use him again.
