structural engineer
 + -1 moreWe called for a pre-construction survey on our brownstone. He said it would be $300, and asked us to take the photos and send them to him. We did this, and then waited several weeks for a response. He did not respond to several emails asking him to complete the survey. When we were out of time, he finally responded by email and doubled his price without explanation. When I called him, he did not return my call. When I got him on the phone, he stammered out excuses even he didn't seem to believe. He says he didn't understand what he needed to do, but surely he, as the engineer, might have asked questions if he had bothered to contact us. As it is, all I can say is he does not seem like a responsible or trustworthy person to hire for a project.
Description of Work: Our contact was by phone and by email: no work was performed.
