Al & Dave did a perfect job. They refinished all the tile work and tubs so that they looked like new. The finish has remained in great condition over the years. It was an excellent solution instead of installing completely new bathrooms. They looked like new.

Good. Nor perfect but good considering the prior condition.

This was a big job: correcting an extremely poor glazing job that had been done years ago along with extreme wear and tear. Steve Natale was terrific to work with. He did a great job: professional, thorough with great attention to detail and prompt. The bathroom looks fabulous! Deborah was my phone contact person and she too was extremely professional and helpful. Al and Dave and Son came highly recommended to me and I, too, highly recommend this company!

They did a great job! I am very picky about how my apartment is, and I let them know this when they started. Al and Dave were more than happy to oblige this and went out of their way to keep the bathroom clean and free of fumes. The only downside was that I couldn't use my beautiful new tub for two days while the glaze dried. The end product was of the highest quality!

Also, after the project: A contractor who was recaulking the bathtub and marble surrounding it, dropped his caulking gun on the new glaze. This left a crack in the surface. Al and Dave were happy to come and fix this, even though it wasnt their fault. I will definitely be using them when I redo my next bathroom.

A bit difficult to firm up service date in advance - but finally managed. Workers arrived more or less on time, and were more or less tidy. They did a pretty good (though not perfect) job of protecting fixtures and other parts of bathroom and setting up a fan to vent paint and fumes. We left the house before they started in earnest. Upon return, we removed the protective paper and tape, and the job looked ok - for the most part, the paint seemed evenly applied, though we noticed drips in a few places. It was certainly a vast improvement over the tubs previous condition. There were a few VERY tiny black spots where the paint didn't take - perhaps bubbles? They also didn't protect the floor tiles adjacent to the tub very well - there remains an uneven 1/8"-1/4" white stripe of paint on the grey grout where the tub meets the floor. The more serious problems began about 3-4 months later, when the paint began peeling in a few spots around the tub. The worst part is directly in the middle of the tub, where the paint continues to flake off in an ever-growing patch, but there are also some random areas with less flaking... As these problems began, I had tried several times to contact them about patching up the spots, but they were unable to schedule a short visit in advance, and rang me a couple times either the evening before or even the same morning that they wanted to come by. We work during the day and have a young child - last-minute scheduling simply doesn't work for us. As the patch grew and grew, we've given up on repeating the porcelain paint. I understand people have had good, lasting jobs done, but our experience was pretty bad. An expensive experience for what we've ended up with after 2 years...

Had some problems with scheduling - the timing and date got changed a few times which was very inconvenient as I work full time at some distance from my apartment. However, I was delighted with the end results - my bath-tub went from looking really gritty and worn to looking sparkling and new. They took time to ensure that I understood how to take care of the tub during the curing period. It did feel as if they were rushing through the job, and they did a poor job of clearing up, leaving blades lying around on the floor and upsetting my super by leaving trash that spilled rather than taking it out with them.

THIS COMPANY DID A NICE JOB. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THEY HAVE NOT FOLLOWED UP ON THEIR WORK. THEY REFUSE TO COME BACK AND HONOR THE ONE YEAR GUARANTEE AND I HAVE HAD A FEW PROBLEMS WITH THINGS SINCE THEY LEFT.
