Description of Work: This guy is a scam artist. He's been all over channel 13 Wham news. He'll come out, give you an estimate, coerce you into filing a claim with your insurance, bill you the maximum allowable amount that he can to ensure you don't have to wait for an insurance adjuster, and then expect to be paid up front. He'll also give you 101 reasons as to why he can't cash your check, asking you to make it out to multiple people, and in some cases, lie to you about his real name. His real name is Douglas Shanley Jr. He also ran Five Brothers Construction and Maintenance Free. He owes about $40,000 in judgements against him, mainly because he no shows his court appearances in civil court, and then flees the state like a coward for criminal court. He has a stupid girlfriend willing to plead guilty to any charge you may have on him. If you do happen to get taken by this worthless piece of crap, contact your banks fraud department and have them reverse payment on the checks for non performance of services, and if he alters the check, have it reversed for check fraud. Make sure you file criminal charges.

Description of Work: the roof was sapose to be compleately replaced they were dirty and un profeseional They never seemed to be able tafford a 5 dollar lunch box and i let them use a small cooler as they were sapose to work they charged us for shingles and wood, they spent a week walkingaround the roof and aded the shigles the wood was never replaced as they took the the money and and took loger than they should have the next winter we had the worst leaks in the house, so we talked to a contractor who lived accross the street and tolld us the non of the wood had been replaced and was rotted in 1 spot the new contractoror actacualy fell through the roof it was so rotted Something Jessie jame said they had fixxed when we tryed to call them they would not return our calls the new contractor fixed the roof in 3 days and we had no leaks the followinf winter Jesse James is a fraud and a rip off

+ -1 moreDoug did our roof and insulation and we were pleased with the resultes. This year he's doing the windy damages to the pridacy fence, coupala. (On 5/6/11 we paid Jesse James Construction $800 in cash we have a receipt $500 owed to me for referal not in writingto replace 2 2 sectiion of privacy fence and and install 2 old privacy fence and replace the coupala damage. So far all we got is 6 post 5 our in the ground and one to go in the the ground. Our attorney sent a letter on 6/15/11 I'll I got was promise no work was done.) Donna M. Rose
