R Marquez Constrution

We hired R. Márquez to install ceramic tile flooring in our basement and just 3 years later, the floor is buckling. Tiles are popping up all over the room. I reached out to several different companies to see why it was happening and all told me the same thing - that the tiles were installed incorrectly - tiles were added right on top of an adhesive glue without removing it first. I contacted the owner to have it rectified and he immediately noticed the glue and wanted to charge us again to fix it. I will be taking him to court. Beware, donot use this company.

He installed steps in my back yard, and he used two different color paints, so that the steps are one color and the railing is another color.  I had one container that was used for my deck, and it was the wrong color.  I ended up needing to buy a different color.  I told them not to use the paint I had because I knew it wouldn’t match.  He used it anyway.  The wood is terrible.  He claimed he used the best grade of wood, and it’s not.  I asked him to show me the bill to prove that the wood was of good quality.  So far he has not.  I called him two weeks ago and he hung up on me twice.  There’s holes and marks on all my steps now.  I’ve lived in this house for 49 years and I’ve never seen my steps look so bad.  Even his attitude was bad, and he acted like he was doing me a favor.
