We're really pleased we hired Gene Marciano. He impressed us with his professionalism when he did the estimate, and we always felt the work was in good hands. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why and answered any questions we had - including about a step we were working on that wasn't part of the project, which was clearly going above and beyond. He clearly cared about the quality of work he did, and turned out a great product. On top of all that, he always had a friendly word as we headed out in the morning or came back.

Once the demolition of the old steps began, it was the worst case, with the existing concrete going pretty deep. Gene did it all, including extending the steps more than we had thought would work, as once he started he found he could make it work and it looked much better. He did not charge me anymore than the initial estimate, and even came back a second time to reseal the concrete as he wasn't happy with how it looked the first time.
