The time frame the insurance had givien us for our home to be done was 6 months. A long hard 6 months to be away from our home. But Brad felt that and new how bad we wanted to get back in, and my personal goal was before gardening season, which Brad dully noted and easily met!!! The fire was january 11, and Brad had us moving back into our home April 22nd, which is absolutely amazing! Everything through out the whole house, the whole process, done to 100% satisfaction, we would, and will be hiring only Frontline Remodeling for any further projects. Amazing job well done!
Brad was the only contractor that really listened to us on our first visit. Even before giving us a price he sent some info on where to get a type of vanity we wanted. If there was something we had in mind that he felt wouldn't work out he fully explained it in very simple terms as to the reason why. He gave us a wide list of vendors to select items from and budget prices in the quote to work from. He installed a new rear flush toilet to replace our old one which goes into our septic system. The other contractors did not want to do it that way and the systems they quoted were more expensive. The new position of the toilet was great and it works great. He knows what he is doing. During construction he communicated every day on what was going on and always asked us about tile layout, vanity, switch locations, molding, etc. There were no surprises during the whole project. I asked him if he could relocate a pot light removed during tear out into our family room ceiling and he did it quickly and at a very fair rate. They were as neat as they could possibly be and always cleaned up everything at the end of the day before leaving.
I highly recommend Frontline. This was the most pleasant experience we have ever had with a contractor.
I had a VERY large shed in the back yard, and wanted to have him move it, unlike the other contractors, he was honest in his reluctance that it could be effectively moved, this ended up proving true - and they demoed it at a reasonable price - and I picked a new smaller one which they put together rapidly for me. It is refreshing being told that a the costs for waste disposal were lower than expected, and being credited the difference without too much pushing from my end, as well as labor no taking as long as expected and receiving credit. Also any misgivings about tackling something - Brad lays his thoughts out right there - he doesn't just say no problem he can do it no matter what. This goes to honesty, and I know from first hand experience that it puts him in the upper echelon of contractors.
The exterior work was done effectively, and the siding was subbed but done so transparently and quickly that I barely even noticed. The work was flawless here, and he even remedied some items at no extra noticeable charge that were problems with the house to begin with that I was unaware of.
The bathroom job was the biggest - and this is where they shined. It was done very efficiently, and in a fairly short span of time. His workers were on time, generally friendly, and sure to clean up and lock up the place every day, as my wife and I both work during the day. Any issues uncovered after demoing a 60+ year old bathroom were immediately brought to my attention, and very effectively remedied. The quality work of was excellent, and any issues after the bathroom was completely done were remedied personally by Brad quickly - and you could tell he really cared. I take issue with some other reviewers who sometimes complain about minor issues after the fact and then never even contact the person who did the work who can easily resolve any issues as Brad did.
Overall, I would highly recommend Brad and his company - they can do nearly any job and do it effectively - and at the same time you get to work with someone who is on the ball. He has earned my trust, and I would certainly highly consider him for future projects - of which he will tackle nearly anything.
During the remodel Brad and his crew - Doug and Greg were punctual, efficient, and a pleasure to have in the house (Our two dogs loved Doug's bacon treats!) They were always available to answer questions and were excellent about communicating the progress of the job. Each day the work area was left spotlessly clean with the bathroom enclosed to contain any dust.
Our remodel was completed on time, within budget, and we couldn't be happier with the result! We would not hesitate to use Frontline Remodeling for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone.
On this particular job, Frontline was not responsible for the foundation work, but was more than happy to work with my brother-in-law who is a mason. Brad made sure that both of them were on the same page to make sure that the floor lined up with the house's main floor (best I can tell it is perfectly aligned).
Even though Brad normally does the complete remodeling down to trim and painting, we wanted to do the flooring, drywall, trim and painting ourselves. Brad had no problem with this at all and was willing to take the remodel to whatever level of completion we wanted.
Brad provided a detailed quote that listed the costs associated with all the aspects of building the addition. Of course as we got started I still had some design changes (one of which made the room a bit larger by cantilevering one of the walls). Brad jumped right on it and thought it was a good idea with very little increase in price.
The people he brought with him to help were also very professional and were always prompt to start every day. Total time was about 12-13 days of work.
Overall we are very happy and would highly recommend Brad and Frontline Remodeling. I don't expect any additional remodeling on this scale, but if we do, Brad and Frontline Remodeling will be the first person I call.
