We discovered a third of the way into the job that Meeka did not provide the proper estimate for what the job would cost and lacked the personnel experience to complete and manage the scope of the job of this magnitude which caused significant overages. When we refused to reimburse her because she did not include/overlooked all the requirements of the job in the fixed cost proposal, these elements were in the original layout design. She came back and resubmitted a new estimate requesting additional money to cover elements of the job that were completed several weeks prior and at that time did not provide any indication of additional cost. She walked off the job and then proceed to litigation for expenses. Her project manager, who we were required to work through as Meeka was too busy with her personal life to manage the job, agreed with our point of view, so he was fired. We had a landscape architect provide design and blueprints. 1. On the design there were walls that Meeka did not include in the estimate therefore did not purchase enough block. 2. She made one wall too deep into the ground because they did not record the grade correctly. 3. Several times she said she would do a minor adjustment but never told us expenses were involved until weeks after. 4. She is very good at saying "Oh why don't we do this".... or "I can do that for you no problem" and we would say "oh okay" we did not know it would cost us thousands of dollars! 5. After she moved existing landscape, she added the cost to the job (when it was not outlined as a cost in the original estimate nor did she tell us that shrubbery needed to be moved.) 6. Prior to the job starting, we clearly indicated the design we were looking for but she did not purchase the correct size block to implement the look we were trying to achieve. (it requred 3 different sizes). 7. Her crew broke existing sprinkler system. 8. She made the base of the fireplace 20% larger than the original design, requiring us to build a much larger fireplace than we wanted (we hired a mason to build fireplace after Meeka walked off job). 9. Bluestone they installed for steps was chipped significantly at installation. And block steps were not level. 10. She priced shrubs and plants 3X higher than our local nursery..for same size plants and trees.
Description of Work: We hired Meeka Ayasyaga, owner of Namaste Gardens, to extend an existing patio with block and add a fireplace and outdoor kitchen. We provided a Landscape design including kitchen design.

The work came out totally unprofessional. The size of the plants and tree were way too small for the proportion of the lot and house, and when addressed she said wait until she was finished. The crew was very unprofessional and not properly trained. I now need to hire another crew to correct her many deficiencies.
Description of Work: Meeka Asayag, the owner, proposed a complete landscape job and did a rendering of the job and assured us that she could execute the same.
