As I already indicated in my ratings above, everything went very well.

They have terrible follow-through, they send too many technicians over at a time, and we've had lots of issues with our system that have yet to be resolved. I've had other problems with them in the past, also. I would never think of using them again.

They were a total waste of time and money.  I had to go into the store to get some  help although I thought I was covered for inhome consultation.  I would never use them again.

They are really friendly and accommodating.  They told me it would be three days before they could get to me and they got to me the next day.  They fixed the problem and it was a very pleasant experience.

The guys were very nice and professionals and they actually put on shoe covers to come into the house which was thoughtful touch.Talked me through everything and did what was necessary

We were very pleased with them. The gentleman that came was very nice and gave us great tips.

The two Geek Squad members arrived promptly and were dressed very professionally. They were very courteous and polite.
As they worked setting things up, they answered any questions I had. They explained things in a way that was easy to understand. They were very unlike the IT people I deal with at work who use techncal phrases to impress. They wanted me to understand what they were explaining. These two young men was totally efficient, did things quickly, yet never seemed rushed nor gave the impression they just wanted to finish and get on to their next job.
When the work was complete, they let me try out everything and made sure all was in working order. I appreciate the fact they let me try things out. That is much better than if they just did it and let me watch.
When I offered each of them a tip (which they had most definitely earned) they explained it was company policy that there was no tipping allowed.
Overall the entire experience was completely positive. They were on time, professional, knowledgable, and got everything done and made sure it all worked before they left. I would absolutely recommend the Geek Squad to everyone I know.

The only bad part about the Geek squad is that to get initial service you might have to wait a little bit to speak to a rep. First they went over all the costs involved with me and gave me an honest assessment. When I told them that I thought it might be a hardware issue, they told me that they will find out. When I went back the next day to check up on it, they gave me a detailed report on how everything went so far. The next day they called me to confirm their findings and told me what the issues where. When I asked them how much it would be for them to fix, they told me they don't carry that specific part and hinted at where I can get it for a good price. Overall, excellent service, just a bit slow in the beginning.

Horribly unprofessional and incompetent workers behind the counter. There employee told me quote a for $199.00 you get diagnostic and repair service. I said "so my computer gets fixed for $199.00"? Employee of geek squad said "yes". When I told him it was my hard drive that was probably the reason for my laptop not working he suggested I just give them the laptop to repair, because a hard drive would be more than $199.00. It made sense to me. At NO TIME did the geek squad person ever say to me that the $199.00 did not include hardware costs. He said "your computer is fixed for $199.00". When they called me a few days later they said I did indeed need a new hard drive, and that it would cost an additional $271.00 for a new hard drive and installation. At that point I had no choice but to pay for the additional costs since I had already sunk in the $199.00. I was hoping to deal with their superiors who of course couldn't believe that one of their geeks could make a mistake or accidentally not inform me of everything. God knows, humans don't make mistakes do they? Their so called managers were completely useless in trying to come to some sort of compromise on this. Each individual person associated with this mess of a deal will be deposed by my attorney or be dragged into court. If that doesn't work I will sue each person INDIVIDUALLY as a matter of principal. When they start missing work and money, they will have learned a valuable lesson. I will be filing a lawsuit against them if I do not get my $199.00 back. I will report the lawsuit to the SEC and will do everything in my power to damage their stock and company. This is about principal. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on washing machines, and kitchen appliances with them and this is what I get.

They told us that they would give us a package deal if we purchased all the appliances at the same time. They gave us 5 year warranties on all the appliances except for the refrigerator and they gave us a 10 year warranty on that. We purchased high end, high efficiency appliances and we figured that we saved $4,000-$5,000 with the package deal.

I took two desktop computers in that were in need of repair. I was hoping that they would be able to get 1 working computer out of the 2. They suggested purchasing a low end computer instead of spending my money on repairing the out of date models.

The Geek Squad member, Germain Smith, was fantastic. He connected all three computers with wireless Internet, he installed a card to adapt the desktop to wireless and he installed anti virus on one computer. The material was additional $140. The Linksys router, adapter card and anti virus software. It was well worth it. Germain was very professional and friendly. He even tolerated 3 overly nice dogs. I will use again for any computer needs.

THE GEEK SQUAD IS A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL WHEN THEY WERE HERE. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY WERE HELPFUL. I HAVE USED THEM THREE TIMES NOW.

THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY NICE. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE. THEY WERE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DID. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE NICE.

THE COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB FIXING BOTH COMPUTERS. THE SERVICE WAS DONE IN TIME ESTIMATED. THE COMPUTERS BOTH WORK FINE NOW. THE COMPUTERS WORK FASTER AND THE SPY WARE WILL KEEP THEM RUNNING GREAT.
