Hugo is a great landscaper, awesome ideas , professional and above all responsible with his time and work ethic. He's always available and does amazing work . Very reasonable with his pricing . Also provides incredible masonry work . My house value has jumped nearly 200 thousand dollars becuase of there amazing work .

Even before I hired him, I could tell he was passionate about his workâ which sold me even before he started.. But once I saw the finished product, I was completely blown away. The project came out so much bette than I could have ever imagined. Even had a few cars stop in the middle of the street to get his info. My neighbors are completely jealous. Would recommend hands down.

Our experience with Polanco Bros Landscaping was amazing. The owner Hugo and his workers were all very professional, kindhearted and the final results far exceeded our vision for our front yard. We've had neighbors stop us and talk to us for the first time since we moved to Queens. We used Hugo and Polanco Brothers last April for a Spring Cleanup, and we were in desperate need for one this season, but had to wait until June to get it done. We called him to return to do the job again and we have to say he continues to provide the Best Landscape Maintenance Experience Imaginable. There was a tree that needed to be removed this time, as well as a major clean up and lawn care in the front and back yards. They worked non stop for three hours and made the property look as if we had just moved in. An INCREDIBLE job. They were completely professional, prompt, and thorough. They did little things we didn't even ask for, like move our firewood pile, remove all debris, and make everything so neat and clean, it was stunning. And this, all for exactly the price that was quoted in the estimate. WHICH WAS INCREDIBLY LOW for the amount of work. The value / cost ratio was first rate. You don't get this kind of friendly and expert service for this kind of price. Never once did he try to up sell us, or suggest something that we hadn't asked for. We will NEVER use anyone else. They are absolutely the best at what they do. You CANNOT do wrong if you choose Hugo and The Polanco Brothers.

I initially hired Polanco Bros Landscaping, to install sod on my front yard and do all the planting of my gardens, they did such a great job that and my wife was so happy with how the gardens came out that I ended up giving them my patio job. They did an amazing!! job with my back patio the design and quality of work is outstanding their cuts were so meticulous and we were extremely happy with the end product, I would definitely recommend this company for all landscaping, brick and stone work and cement.

I just got of the phone for the 3rd and final time with Hugo, one of the brothers in charge for the company. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, and insulting. Long story short, he did not provide receipts despite me specifically asking for an invoice or proof of payment and summary of what was done, as well as estimates in writing for future work he wanted to do and an outline of what would be covered in the contract if we went with an annual, pre-paid arrangement. He must not like so many questions and having to be accountable for what he says he will do because he never provided receipts for neither the lawn cutting nor the supposed weed killing (despite the weeds and undergrowth still standing as I write this). He was supposed to come again yesterday to cut the lawn and lay down fertilizer and discuss winterization steps. He never showed - despite me calling Monday to confirm - and never called to explain why. When I asked today what happened he was combative and defensive probably because he knew he messed up. He said his trailer broke down and that *he doesn't have time to call 35 people and let them know he's not coming." That hostile, arrogant attitude says it all. I should have known he was not reliable when he never called back originally to give me a quote because he wrote my phone number down incorrectly from the voicemail and never bothered to write it down again after he finally showed up. When I mentioned that the weeds are still there just now over the phone he started throwing out excuses as to why it was my fault. When I said the grass was visibly uneven on the side and left longer, he started shouting and telling me he has no time to listen to complaints. He never excused himself for being a no-show, never apologized for making me pay extra to kill weeds and have them still standing 9 days later, and had the nerve to tell me "I never said I wouldn't go bsck and fix the weeds." Well, when pressed he never said when he would be back to spray them again, either. He just said "he would get to it." I asked "today, tomorrow, end of the week, when?" Keep in miind, he should have been here yesterday, and he said "I don't know." I urged him to honor his word and just finish the job he started and not to leave me with such a bad taste in my mouth. Nobody pays to be ripped-off or to have their yard made worse than when they started and he couldn't even do that. I would *never* recommend this 'business' to anyone unless that person was someone I didn't care for, and I think Home advisor should reevaluate their backing of the Polanco Brothers. I only gave them a chance because I saw them on here. 1 star because they did cut and spray something but that is it. Shame on them for such "customer service" and rude behavior when they were in the wrong to begin with. I was forced to come back on here to find another option now that Hugo has decided to not finish what he started and leave me hanging. I paid in full before the job,

We initially hired Polanco Brothers to repave a large driveway. They did such a good job on the asphalt replacement we asked them to install a new bluestone/brick front walk and side patio and make repairs to the front steps. The quality of all their work is excellent. The driveway looks better than new, and the walkway looks as though it has always been there. They went out of their way to match materials. Their prices were fair. The workers are polite, courteous and professional. They took great pride in their work, and truly cared about providing a quality result. We are completely satisfied with their work, will certainly use them for other projects in the future and would highly recommend you consult with them on similar work.

I have been a customer of Polanco Bros. for 15 years. Best advice I can give anyone: check with Polanco Bros. first before you do any landscaping, garden or patio work. These guys are: knowledgeable, customer oriented, hard-working, meticulous and timely. Their work has improved the value of my home significantly. They are extremely easy to deal with and very accommodating. Prices are reasonable. The workers are well-supervised and completely trustworthy around the home. In summary, I would never use any other service than Polanco Bros.

The Palanco Bros were very professional. They completed a very large job in one day that included: installing sod, removing a mountain of weeds, seeding and fertilization. I intend on hiring them in the future for additional landscaping projects.

I had an excellent experience with Polanco Bros. In scheduling the winterization of my sprinkler system on the eve of a 20 degree temperature drop, the company's representative was very accomodating to work with me to provide next day service. The contractor, Tony, came during the window promised and got the job done quickly. Also, he was very polite. I will likely use this company again.
