Ambrosi Construction

Like a deer in the headlights, a contractor, although affordable in price left me with a major mess and a very cold home and unsatisfactory work. I fired that company and hired Ambrosi Construction whom I had used in the past. I guess you get what you pay for! Ambrosi was able to reframe an unsafe ceiling, and bang out the sheetrock . Underneath, they applied various R rating ecobatts of insulation from the exposed brickout on my 120 year old home. To coin another phrase, the work to get my job moving back in the right direction, was like a shot in the arm. The greatest value was not only in the quality of the work, but also the absolute peace of mind knowing the job was done right and without wasting time!

Very well. He uncovered areas of my newly purchased home that I did not know existed. He gave me several options to fix areas from insulation, window replacement and kitchen remodeling, that was truly an education.

1. Create two closets from one large one. They did a great job and I had a good feeling about them. Showed up on time, very respectful, nice guys; could tell they all had a good work relationship. Did the job on time and within stated estimate. Involved me when needed, otherwise just GOT IT DONE. 2. Install basement windows. Solid; John and his crew took care of everything. Look great. 3. Finish a raw basement, including a bathroom. This was a sore spot for over a year. Turned out beautiful. It was a pleasure to wake up to the revving of their power tools, knowing that progress was being made. 4. Build a roof extension. Solid job. Great addition to the house - whether it's protection from the elements while fumbling for keys or with groceries, to being able to sit out and enjoy the rain. John is great to work with as a contractor. He's responsive; he texts back promptly. He keeps his word. He works with you to achieve your objective and proposes good alternatives. He suggests good resources. And he's a really nice guy, as is the rest of his crew. His crew are professional, courteous, knowledgeable... and they clean up each day. Will hire them again FOR SURE.

Did superior job on everything and completed all work in a timely fashion. We are very pleased.

John was recommended to me by a neighbor whose bathroom was just gorgeous. He helped me all along the way with making decisions based on his experience with this type of job. I always knew when he was coming and he always kept me informed of the schedule. The job was done quickly, thank goodness!  There were no surprises and he cleaned up after himself.

The enormous task of not only rebuilding a home with so much destruction and also many decades of memories and life that were enjoyed, was something that had to be understood. John Ambrosi not only supervised every phase of the project, but also enhanced the "new" home in its original footprint. The spirit of the home remained, with modern touches that added charm and also saved on both heating and cooling. The trust in John's architects, and professional staff  always were included in the details when decisions and modifications were suggested.  I have met many contractors, but Ambrosi Construction is one such firm that I can truly say has created a home of great quality at a very fair cost. The amount of time John and his administrator provided was over and above anything that can be expected. I am confident that you will benefit equally by using this company, or at the very least ask him to give an estimate on your job and meet this professional yourself!

He does very skilled work. His finished work is very good. His crew is very good too.
