Did a great job on my floors. Came when he said, sanded and stained on first day, came and put three coats on floors and one coat on stair case on second day. Asked for no money till job was done and inspected. Put plastic up to protect kitchen cabinets and wall unit, cleaned entire work area when done. The owner called me the next day to see if I was still pleased with job and if I needed help bringing dinning room table back so not to scratch floors. Will use again in the future.

Awful. The contractor demanded 1/2 in cash before he started the job. That should have been my first hint. He also demanded cash before the floors were dry and could be walked on to inspect. That should have been a HUGE red flag. BIG lesson learned. Please look over the pictures and see for yourself. Don't let this happen to you! It appears, from the finished job that it was rushed. We hired Chris with the expectation of highly professional work because he dropped the name of a contractor and realtor we respected. We did not call those references. BIG mistake. The work was, in a word, brutish. A combination of brute force with a distinct lack of respect or care for our home. We had asked the contractor is we should paint before or after he came and he said it did not matter. We opted to paint first. While I understand that it was possible for the heavy sanding equipment to occasionally bump and damage base molding, ALL the base was damaged. It all had to be repainted. Also, there is polyurethane on the walls, base and closet doors. There is even a hole in the wall in the hall of the southeast bedroom. As for the floors themselves, there are a many visible lines where sanding and or poly was not blended. In addition, in many spots the disk sanding was not finish sanded along the grain leaving many deep cut arcs (swirls) in the floor. Many of the edges and corners were also not finish sanded leaving visible arcs and machine marks. Additionally, there are a few places on the floor where machine sanding was not applied with even pressure leaving waves. Also, I was unaware that they would not be taking the trash or that dust bags would be emptied in our yard. We also found cigarette butts on our property. Ashes were also in the bathroom which indicates that the crew was smoking in the house. When given an opportunity to resolve the above issues, the Chris arrived at our home and spent about fifteen minutes "buffing out a few spots". We were unable to see the results of this visit. When confronted, Chris stated - "You got what you got and I'm done." He then hung up.
