Needed a bathroom added to my basement, as well as some redone flooring in a bedroom and laundry room. They were prompt, reasonably priced and very professional and communicative throughout the process. Very happy with the work they have done and I will be keeping them in mind for future projects on my house.

Two men came on time on the day I requested.  They removed the 24" upper cabinet in one piece, without destroying it so that I could continue using it.  They installed the 18" cabinet in its place.  The work was well done, they left no mess, they were courteous and the whole operation took about 3 hours (maybe less).  They even took the old cabinet down to the basement for me.  As far as the cost goes, I thought it was a bit high but not outrageous:  $190. for the first hour, then $95. for each hour after that - for each workman.  They did such a great job that it was worth it to me.  I would definitely recommend them.

From start to finish Bill and his team were punctual, courteous and professional.
Beginning with the estimate, Bill gave us the time to explain exactly what we wanted and then worked with us to give us what we really needed.  He was honest and forthright, and he never once made us feel uncomfortable, or that we had "lost control."
He kept us informed of our timeline and expenses throughout the process, and we had input every step of the way.
He even gave us things from a design standpoint that were above and beyond what other contractors had offered or even discussed.  We are extremely happy with the end result, and will use Bill and his team again for several other projects we have on the horizon.
Response from Sumrick Builders
"Thank you for working with Sumrick. We would only give you honesty, good quality work for your renovations in your kitchen."

Great! The entire project only took 5 days. One the first day they set up plastic curtains and canvas tarps from the bath to the front door, in a matter of hours the crew had the entire bath gutted. By the end of the day there was a new tub and floor tile installed. Day two, same curtain and runners, and by 5:30 they were done with Sheetrock and spakle.  Day three, (no curtain) but a tent in my front yard for the men to work under while it rained, they finished all my shower tile.  This is where it really started to look great! The following day they grouted the tile, painted and installed the  toilet. On the last day, the vanity, shower doors, and towel racks were installed.  Oh yea, somewhere during this they changed the bathroom door. I think it took me longer to pick out the fixtures then it took for them to finish, lol. Bill and his crew were pleasant and professional, after the first day I felt comfortable enough to leave them alone in my home while I returned to work.  I would recommend Sumrick Builders to anyone, who is looking for a CLEAN and well organized company. They helped me though the entire shopping process and had given great referrals for things they didn't do (closet organizers)

It went very well.  Bill is very accommodating, pleasant and professional. I changed my mind about windows and paint color and glass insets and Bill was always helpful and pleasant. His workers are also pleasant and professional.  I have no qualms about having them at my house.  They worked hard and did a good high quality job.  Sumrick Builders is our go-to contractors for anything we need for our home.

Bill had the flooring delivered before hand to accustom its temperature to our home.  We inspected the subfloor from the basement and it looked perfect.  When Jimmy removed the old fir flooring he found the subfloor was disintegrating from previous water leaks.  His foot was going thru the wood. Also some parts of the subfloor were missing !!! So it was replaced at added cost.  but the new floor is solid.  No creaks as I have in my kitchen where new flooring was placed over old.  We love it.  The work was done in a timely manner.  Bill also evened out a bump in the old floor of the hallway.  Everything is perfect two years after the job was completed and we've had Bill back to do further work on the house x 2.
