I basically use the dealers. When you guy a Toyota the first 2 years all the basic maintenance is included. So you just drive in there and they do it. My most reliable cars that I have had are Toyota's. This car has, its only once a year to get the oil changed. It got the synthetic stuff. I never had that stuff but it is great I love it. Its only once a year or 10,000 miles. I am almost due for another oil change. I am due in a month or 2. They are very good. They have an express service for oil changes and you are in and out very quickly. It was free. It is hard to give a dealer an A for price. For an oil change they are probably close to the other guys. I just hate to lead someone to think they are going to get a good price when they are going to a dealer because its not going to happen. I go to them because I don't want it misdiagnosed. You can get coupons and stuff like that. You can get discounts. Whatever they do is 100% backed up by the manufacturer. So you don't have to worry if they mess up your car because they will take care of it. They give me a time and my car is in. The whole thing for an oil change is a half an hour. I don't think I am there for longer than a half an hour. I haven't had a big repair to where I can get into the meat of something. When you have you oil change they divert you to another building where it is all express. They don't handle big jobs there so you don't have to deal with all the other people. It is very smart. So they get you in and out. In other words your not behind a guy who needs a brake job and your just sitting. They have an express service, and the express service is very good.

We have two Toyota's so we are always taking one of them in regularly. They were nice, courteous and professional. We have never had any issues. Auto inspections, oil changes and things like that only takes a few hours. They provide shuttle service to bring us back home and pick us up when the car is done if we don't want to wait. The only thing I would tell people is don't buy a dark color vehicle because, if you get a scratch it shows. I've always bought used cars. I don't care what the color is as long as it works for me. I love small cars. One time I got stuck in snow and used my foot to get out. I resent that I can't work on the new cars, so I don't like the price.

We are pretty happy with them. They are pretty quick with the repairs that they do. They are pretty time efficient. They are timely with their repairs. When they say something is going to take this number of hours, it's done on time, which I think is important. If we want to wait there to get our car done; they have a nice, comfortable waiting area. The environment is good. Then they touch base with the customer after we are finished with the car. They call with the feedback and ask how did we like it. They follow-up afterwards. It's an older car, so we have put a lot of wear and tear on the car. That's why it cost so much. Usually a routine visit is like $50-$100 for a routine oil change or anything else that needs to get done. It's not that expensive. I think that for the work that they do, they are reasonable. At least when they do their work, it's reliable. We are not going back there in a week because something broke. They are pretty punctual. They are pretty good.

They are great. They are very nice and I have never had trouble with them. When my car is in for the check-up if they find other things that need to be done they will call me and let me know so I can approve it. I would definitely recommend them to others. I have had my toyota since 2004 and I have been very pleased with their services. They are very accommodating as they let me borrow a car while mine is being serviced. The man I deal with is Bob Creevy and he is one of the service managers.

The work that they did was good but the service people over there weren’t very good. I would tell people to use their services but to be very upfront with them about your expectations. The manager called me and resolved everything. So in that sense it was good, but I wasted a lot of time dealing with them. I would use their services in the future too since I bought my car from them and it’s under warranty. So I have no other choice.

I had a price set $28,890.00. When it came my turn to receive the car, they would not sell me the car at the price that we had in the contract. I ended up having to get an attorney and send them a threatening letter. Finally, they agreed to give me the car at the price in the contract. Then they also had to pass a price increase to me at the cost of $450.00.

Smithtown Toyota has been very good to me. Because we've bought a service contract, they give us free oil changes for life. They have always treated me with respect and they are polite and professional. They don't try to get you to buy extras.
