Perry assured us when he came to take measurements that he was able to install an airtight shower door for a steam room / shower. He assured us that he experience and has been in business a long time. We agreed on a style of mounting hardware for the glass. When he showed up, he directed another individual through the installation. He did not personally do the installation. It seemed like he was training someone. The job was not done well. Moreover, the style of mounting the glass that was agreed on was not followed. Perry told us he decided that this other way was better and did not consult us on the change. Rather than a modern look, he provided us with a look right from the 1980's. Later, we noticed that the sealant used was not applied correctly, and that there were 2 areas about 2 inches in length that were skipped. There were sharp metal edges left exposed. And, worst of all, when we could finally use the steam (which we were instructed not to use for 2-3 days to let the sealant dry) is was seeping out through the edges of the door. In fact, 6 months later, my ceiling outside of the steam room has bubbling paint and water dripping down the walls. We called Perry right away. He came to look at the problem, and offered a few solutions to improve the sealing and sharp metal edges. But, he was a no show, and never did actually come back to finish the job. Worse yet, a contractor friend saw Perry show up to bid on a 7-bathroom custom new home construction job. Big money! My friend told Perry that he could not in good conscience allow the owners to use him unless he returned--as he said he would--to fix my shower. Perry did not bother showing up, even with the prospect of losing a 7-bathroom project. This man does shoddy work. Despite stating warranties, he does not honor them. He would not accept a credit card, so I have no recourse now get my money back or get the door fixed, and every other shower door installer won't fix someone else's door: they will only measure and install a new door. Buyer Beware. I let my guard down, paid cash, and got screwed. Don't make the same mistake. It's now 6 months later, and still we have not heard back from Perry.
