RELIABLE TREE SVC

Came to give an estimate which we accepted and we were told we would get call with a service date. Days passed. We called and asked to be called back with a service date. Nothing. Called two more times over several days, but you can only reach their answering service who relays the message. They never did call back after about two weeks since the estimate. Seems to be their M.O. UNreliable, unprofessional, not a way to do business.

When cutting the branches from the tree top, they would drop the heavy branches to the ground instead of lowering them with rope leaving deep divots in the ground which they did not fill. When they ground the stump, they piled the grindings into a mound over the hole instead of hauling the excess away. I was told that the grindings would disintegrate in time.
 For a year and a half I had the mound from this tree and that of another tree, which they had cut down for me a month before, laying where they left them before I decided to spread the wood chips around the yard. Contrary to what they told me, the wood chips did not disintegrate with time.
 When they ground the stump, they used a heavy robotic stumper which was mounted on treads similar to those on a military tank, that tour up my lawn and left deep depressions. My experience with grinders used by other companies is that theirs are mounted on wheels and do not damage the ground.
I have used tree services to remove trees for a lot less cost and they were more respectful of my property. For the cost of Reliables services, I had expected them to take more care.

He was an hour and a half late and didn’t even give me a courtesy call to tell me he wouldn’t be on time. I had to leave for another appointment before he came so they did not end up doing the work for me. If he would have just called I could have rescheduled.

They came out and they were supposed to call me back to give me the price. They never called me back for the price, so I called them. They finally called and gave me a price. I wanted to have part of the work in the spring and part of the work done in the fall. They never called me back again. I once again called back to set up an appointment. They said yeah we can do that for you and we will call you back and then they never called back. If the job was too small for them, then they should have told me that it was too small. They are unreliable and I would never ever use them. The price was very high as well. They were very overpriced.

Excellent in all respects, from attentiveness to customer requests, to cleanup (absolutely pristine). Have worked with this company multiple times and referred them to family friends and neighbors all of which are equally pleased with price and level of service.

I THOUGHT THEY DID A NICE JOB. IT ONLY TOOK THEM A DAY AND A HALF TO GET THE JOB DONE. A BIG PART OF THE REASON WE USE THEM IS THE LENGTH OF TIME THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS WHICH IS OVER THIRTY YEARS.

THE COMPANY DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB ON THE TREE REMOVAL. THEY HAULED AWAY ALL DEBRIS AND TOOK OUT THE STUMPS. THE WORK WAS DONE IN ESTIMATED TIME. THE YARD WAS LEFT CLEAN AND NEAT.
