Professional Mold Testing

Quick, informative and complete. My testor was very pleasant to deal with and clearly well informed.

Greg was one of several mold testing professionals recommended after a general home inspection identified mold. He was able to schedule an inspection on 24 hours notice, and was friendly and professional over the phone. He was the same way in person. The inspection took roughly 40 minutes, during which Greg explained what he was doing during each step. He promised a full report by the end of the next business day, and we received the report within that timeframe. The report contained a full outlining of what it would take for a remediation expert to remove the mold. Greg's prices were within the general range for his speciality, though not the lowest or highest we found. We would recommend him to anyone looking to identify the extent of a mold problem and learn how or take care of it.

He checked my house -- including the upstairs bathroom, where I thought there might be mold. He told me it was just a tiny bit, it wasn't a big deal, that the piece of wood could easily be replaced. So the upstairs didn't need testing. He checked out the rest of the house, and gave me some feedback on my ac vents. He took two indoor samples and one outdoor samples using the kind of equipment I was advised was necessary (I had been fooling around with home test kits). I sent sent them that day to the lab in Virginia and the results came back the next day. I was amazed how quickly. The lab is an accredited AIHA, which I have been told is important. After the past few months of hype and fear from countless inspectors and remediators, it was so good to have someone who was reassuring, honest, and who knew what he was doing. His prices are about half of what some of the other testers were asking. He called me to tell me about the results just as they appeared on my email. In two instances (air testing the upstairs and material testing the bathroom wood), he had the opportunity to convince me of testing needed, which would have increased his fee. But he didn't. That says a lot.

THE PRICE IS TOO HIGH...

Greg showed up on time and was very friendly. He came in and wanted to know all the details of the problem that I had so he could analyze the areas accordingly. He also provided valuable tips on what to avoid to prevent mold. Greg took the samples and sent them out for analysis and provided me with the reports as soon as he received them back. Luckily mold was not the issue, and I limited it down to a new leather couch. It was good to have piece of mind from a professional. I would definitely use him again and refer him to anyone that needed air quality testing performed.

A few neighbors used Greg as well. They gave me his phone number, I called, he returned my call immediately. Scheduled an appointment, for what I believe to be the same week. He arrived promptly, was professional, explained his procedures and what I was to expect. He said I would receive his report in a few days via email and I did. I would highly recommend his services should anyone need their home tested for mold.

Gregg was extremely professional and explained in detail what the situation was with the black mold. We discovered the black mold about two weeks after Hurricane Sandy severely damaged our home.....Fnding the mold in our bedroom closets was just an added headache for us and having heard all the dangers about the black mold...Gregg assured us that it was not the castrophe we thought it was...he tool the necessary air samples, sent them to the lab and when the findings were ready he took all the time we needed to explain what it all meant and what neeced to be done....he also prepared a report that we needed to submit to the insurance company in order for us to get reimbursed for the cost of his services and the cost of the remediation. I would definitely without hesitation recommend Gregg's company to anyone needing these services... He came to our home within a day after we called him and was extremely quick preparing the report we needed....

Since Greg uncovered the mold in several areas of the apartment, we all have to be tested to determine how much mold is in our system and the course of action.
