Tad at Cheyenne Electric has been our go-to electrician for years. He always communicates well, is very reasonable with his fees, and we trust him completely. Tad always does a thorough, professional job, leaves things neat and clean, and is very pleasant to work with. My parents used Tad for many years, thought it would be a good idea to use him when I got a house, big mistake. When I mentioned the issues I had with him he cursed me out and called me sensitive. A dishonest electrician that thinks they know everything. Took advantage of me when upgrading my service panel to 200A. Installed it sloppily and insulated his work with paper towels. Also cut the grounding rod by 3ft which is a code violation. When I sent him the picture he said "it's all I had in my truck, i had it in my notes to come back to your house and re-do the ground rod" but it's been 3 months and he never told me that was an issue. Also what licensed electrician is driving around with a 5ft ground rod, beats me. Sounds like an excuse. Also didn't replace the GFCI breakers in my panel, despite saying he would replace all the breakers. Probably wanted to save money instead of doing the right thing. Had to pay another electrician to fix all the mistakes.

Tad is excellent, he is very knowledgeable and explains things for you to understand clearly in addition to being kind and nice. He is very clean and will follow any requests (i.e. wearing booties to protect the floors). He has done a multitude of different jobs, from installing alarm cameras, replacing outlets, and fixing electrical issues. My parents have used Tad’s services for many years and recommended him to me. He was the 1st person we called when we bought our 1st house and the only electrician we trust and will use.

Tad is an excellent electrician and a pleasant fellow. He called me back within hours of my original inquiry. When we set an appointment, he came right on time. He wore "booties" in the house to protect the floors, and offered to wear a mask. He replaced both outside lighting fixtures, taking care with details -- for example, he painted the screws he used black so they would blend into the fixture. My bedroom ceiling fan was intermittent (worked for a few months, then stopped for a few months, etc.). Tad offered to troubleshoot it, but we agreed it was better to replace it with a new fan to avoid future problems. His work is neat, and properly done. We are getting an estimate to install high hats in the living room.

Excellent...after calling 2 other electricians and receiving NO return phone calls, I called Cheyenne Electrical and within a few hours, I received a return call and appointment was set up..Tad Kresofsky was excellent...very professional...I will definitely call him again when needed.

Excellent! Tad is a super knowledgeable electrician and made no excess holes in the sheetrock when he wired 6 windows for electric window treatments (they are so cool and convenient), all the fixtures hung perfectly and he just really cares about doing a great job. He measures to make sure everything is perfectly centered or where it is supposed to be (like a pendant hanging in the middle of a night table), etc. He is truly an expert with probably 20 years of experience, and most importantly HE DOES THE WORK, doesn't send some young kids to do the work on his license. I hesitate recommending him only because I don't want him to be too busy where I can't get him when I need him LOL. He is truly a gem in an industry where I've met so many plain rocks. I had a ton of work done by him (about 25 lights in the ceiling and 11 hanging fixtures) and the electric shades thought it was all really reasonable.

On time, professional, and neat. He will be my go to electrician. No flaws at all. Highly recommend.

It was a small job that Tad was agreeable to handling.

This was the second time we have used Cheyenne Electric, and both times have found Tad, the owner, to be pleasant, professional, and meticulous about his work. You realize when he first walks in and puts the disposable covers over his shoes that he cares as much about keeping your home clean as you do. This is reinforced when he puts down drop cloths to make sure that no debris will end up on your floor. He is clearly someone who cares about his customers and who also takes pride in his work. We will definitely use his services again, and have no reservations whatsoever about recommending him!

Tad did a wonderful job of installations. The installing of the microwave was a little tricky due to no cabinets above the stove, but he framed out the area and attached the heavy microwave. He did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone. I already have recommended him to friends and family. With all the work he did I feel the price was great! He comes into your house and puts on booties and and rolls out a floor protector when entering.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Tad is a skilled carpenter as well as an electrician. My job required the installation of a new 16 foot light pole. Tad was able to handle the installation with no problem and at a very fair price. He is very professional, knowledgable and a pleasure to deal with.

Tad was very professional and an excellent engineer and craftsman. He took care in the work he was doing and let me know what he was planning to do before he started the job. He made sure I knew what I needed to buy before he got here; I had to buy the fans, which I expected, and he provided the high hats which were included in the price, which I did not expect. Tad also let me know what could influence the price of the fan installations when he gave me the estimates. This way I was informed and new what to expect when he was finished. I'm also a person that likes to know everything I can about what I own and Tad was more than happy to answer any of the questions I had, even if they sounded ridiculous. I plan to hire him again for a few of the other projects we need done around the house. Also, we had a great conversation and didn't mind me talking to him. I know I can talk peoples ear off but I love to hear other people's stories; which a lot of people don't appreciate or like.

31Tad far exceeded my expectations.  He even advised me against addressing certain items as they were not needed.  His professionalism and attention to detail made him a pleasure to work with.  He and his company are my new go-to for all of my home-improvement needs.
